I was glued to my screen throughout the entire video and was moved by it, especially about winning the gold in the Olympics. And what can you really say about Manny? I have vivid memories of watching Manny Pacquiao fights when I was a kid and praying intensely for him to win, I’m not even the slightest bit patriotic to the point that I despised watching Filipino dubbed cartoons but with Pacquiao, win or lose, he had my prayers.
I was born in Canada so it has taken me the last 30 something years to grow into my pride. We are creative, compassionate, and strong. I hope any young Filipino reading this understands their power. You can do anything you want to do. Work hard, be confident and tell everyone what you are: FILIPINO.

I met someone who trained with hidelyn in china when she was younger. Her story makes me tear up. She was plagued with injuries even when she was younger. She definitely worked hard for her success.
