Thank you for sharing. Could you please provide some suggestions for lenses that would be suitable for capturing images in such extreme conditions? I own a Z9 and z800 f6.3 and am planning to purchase another telephoto zone lens may be z100-400 or z180-600.
A mid range zoom is a must for Antarctica. A zoom range in the 200-600mm would be perfect though I think the reviews of image quality are mixed on Nikons 180-600. I’d want to look into that before recommending. Nikons 100-400 is superb. The problem with Antarctica now is that you can’t put a camera bag on the ground so wrestling with different lenses is problematic. I do love having a longer lens to shoot off the boat with. Either an 800 or 600 with 1.4x. Hope that helps!
