This is the best episode-charming guy, and very talented.I still find it difficult to tell which presenter is talking...the accents are identical...is there any way you could differentiate? Andrew Oldham was a bit disappointing (not your fault) and I notice that Peter Asher wasn't asked about turning down Crosby Stills and Nash..in the audition they did for him and George H in Moscow Road.....historic boo boo..eh? Loved David Coverdale shows and Steven Wilson...Ritchie Blackmore and Paddy MacAloon please
From what I remember, the movie was Days of Thunder and The Driver track was re-worked with a vocal by David Coverdale. I prefer Terry's version. I think, if I compared Terry with anyone, it would be Van Morrison. There is something very intuitive and instinctive about the way they perform. River is similar to Astral Weeks in its mystical and freewheeling atmosphere.
Another great one lads, keep ‘em coming. I’m off to check out his songs you mentioned. Rod Evans was the first Deep Purple vocalist, by the way…
"The Most of Terry Reid" was in my Dad's collection. I'm intrigued.
Always wanted to know more about Terry Reid. None the wiser after listening to that though.

Nick Simper/Semper, was the first Deep Purple singer....
Rod Evans was first vocalist
@@garyproom16 ahhhhhhhh, course he was, I got them mixed up. Nick was the bass player before Roger.

Yes, Terry's version was used in "Aspen Extreme" instead of
