I feel your pain! I’ve been with Walmart for 8 years. Sure I’ve had good days but I’m so done with all the crap that comes with it. I’m with you on never working retail ever again
girl yes literally i was in retail for over 5 years and you are so right on all of this…not the best job to have haha best of luck finding something new!!
I'm currently facing this problem, but it's part time only because I hate the IT career I chose and I need retail for supplemental income. Uber and Lyft after taxes and car repairs are actually less than a retail job, yet people somehow say they're more profitable. I'm not sure how old you are, but I am 30 years old and I really screwed up bad when I have to rely on retail to get extra money. I'm trying to come to terms with it, because I don't want to be entitled and think I'm better than menial jobs, but I do have mild autism and communication isn't a strong skill for me. The last retail job I had was Dunkin Donuts in 2011, it was difficult to interact with customers, the whole making coffee thing was so easy a toddler could do it. I've applied to Wal-Mart, Target and even Walt Disney World.

retail dealing with the "normies" has to be the worst type of job ever. just being abused, insulted, shouted at.
