I made an organizer like that for my workbench back when I was doing wiring cars up. If didn’t (and still don’t) organize my stuff like that I’d be spending more time looking for things than working. That wiring and tape is good too. Have you seen those solder shrink butt connectors. If I were going to finish wiring my 65 Galaxie race car that’s what I would use. You crimp the wires and heat the solder covering the connectors and melt the heat shrink at the same time.

Great video and I hope all the TEMU items hold up well. A 6 month review would be nice. Also test the wire. The last time I ordered wire like that it was aluminum that had a copper color to it. Maybe copper plated. But every time I tried to solder it the wire would just disappear. I could crimp to it but not solder. Anyhow was good to see you on camera on Saturday and thanks for the video.

I love this video! I am addicted to Temu….my rule of thumb is check Temu and Shein first then Walmart and Amazon. 9 times out of 10 Temu is cheapest! I am going now to look for the pliers.

I guess a lot of the "No name" products on Amazon are imports from China. I guess with Temu, you are just cutting out the middleman.
I would, however, be a bit cautious with electrical items, in case they aren't up to code.

You make awesome things! Those Almico 5 Humbuckers are awesome! I wish I could buy a single Humbucker wired pickguard with just a volume knob and a toggle coil split like the 80s HM Fender Strats, the Tom DeLonge Strat kind of, but with Cathybuckers and a toggle coil split instead of the Pearly Gates and a treble bleed in the volume knob I like to keep it simple. But I miss that HM single Bucker since my kids were little.

Awful sorry, Miss Cathy. Truth be told, I was really lookin forward to some class-A nerd info about pickups. But if this channel ain’t what you thought it would be, or if you just gost bored with it, I gotta admit, I’ll miss it. If I may, Miss Cathy, I got one of them Amazon requests fer help. Dude asked me why his pickups sound so weird and “far away” is how he put it. Well ma’am, I had to say something. And well, I remembered something you said. You was working on some wiring, and you said there’s a North and South to pickups. So I told him that, and I recommended he experiment with his wiring on account of, I couldn’t remember nothin else at the time. So anyways, I sure wish you was still doing the videos, but whatever you’re into these days, I hope you’re havin fun. Thanks for trying to help us.

It’s good to har you planning to come back. On the other hand, is good you got a lot of guitar business going on. I gotta tell you that offset combination Les Paul and SG… that sky blue one with the white trim… that’s as beautiful as any guitar I’ve ever seen. And if I had the money, I’d prove I mean what I say.
But seein as how you’re planning to grace the place with your presence again, I do have another question. I was wondering… What makes the difference between regular pickups and “narrow field” pickups (a.k.a. “close field” pickups)? I’m given to understanding that those narrow field pick ups are prone to give a 5-way blade selector-switch, much more noticeable separation between tones. The PRS SE NF3 is outfitted real nice with what I’m on about. Could never afford it, but I’m real partial to multiple separate tones. And curiosity is getting the better of me. I’d sure be obliged if you would let me know what you can, about them pickups, when you have some more time on your hands, that is. Thank you kindly.
Cathy as I understand has been making new pickups for all their new guitars so that’s a lot of pickups.

It’s my own fault for bristling at the thought of being perceived as someone who lacked the intelligence to recognize and respect the awesome work that both Cathy and Sean do simply for the love of music and in gratitude for each and every one of their loyal fans. I truly harbor no ill will toward you. It’s just the nature of how my mind works.

Keep on putting Seymour Duncan to shame!
Seymour Duncan has some good pickups , but the ceramic and Almico 2 Pearly Gates in White with the black bobbin just look cheap and sound farrty to me. The Tom DeLonge single Humbucker reminds of my favorite guitar I ever had. It was the HM Fender Stratocaster with one Bridge Humbucker that was wound Hot, had a volume and a toggle switch to split it. I had one in 85, Silver with a black headstock. I would like to use that Silvertone Strat with a DeLonge pickguard and a Overwound Cathybucker and just a volume and a toggle to split the bucker. Man that guitar would give you chills.
I was going to look into a set of your pickups for an Epiphone sg project but now that I see you use stuff from Temu I'm out. I've seen Sean review guitars from Temu but stop as soon as I see it's one of theirs. I hope Reaper doesn't have anything sourced from Temu, even though it's not a guitar I may buy, future creations and could interest me. Not, however, if any parts or materials came from Temu. Temu uses slave and child labor, scams and multi charges customers and just got sued for using malware granting itself access to personal date through the cell phone app. If you guys ever decide to stop using them then a set of pickups may still be on the list.
Cathy getting the Temu treatment! Go get it! That’s a lot of cool stuff. The downside is that shipping takes longer than Amazon, but in all honestly, if it’s not an emergency, save that money for the same stuff!
