We should have this in every country in every huge mall or in parks around the world. Make music, not war. Bless these angels who work so hard to become the wonderful musicians they are, and for bringing us their music.Long life to them.
I love when orchestras do this. The surprise, spontaneity, and suspense of what will happen next is so fun & hopefully gets kids interested in the music and the instruments!
THIS is not spontaneous. not are the piano players presented all over the net. These folks are practiced professionals, and they do this to present their craft and art to the world, and it allows them to 'advertise' what they do and how WELL the do it. and yes, it should be done all over. i really like it.
@ I’m not saying the performance was spontaneous, it took a lot of work to put it together. For the audience it felt spontaneous and magical. I’m hoping that kids will see that playing these pieces can be fun and it will spark an interest.
3:17 That guy on the back walking on the tip of his toes with his kids really get it! This track was used in lots of old cartoons and it was almost always like that, tippy toes and the BAM, chaos lol
This was the most enjoyable 7 minutes of my day so far. And I loved that guy walking his kids to the beat. Great performance, thanks so much for sharing it with everyone.
I arranged In the hall of the Mountain King as a bass duet in high school almost 20 years ago, and this is the closest I have ever heard it with the bassist and a bassoonist... you two rocked!!! I played both those instruments, and appreciate the joy you bring!
Hall of the Mountain King is one of my faves. I learned a piano version years and years ago and it was always a favorite to play, and as a performance at piano recitals.
start singing in a choir, that will do it - performing as a part of a choir together with an orchestra is the greatest thing I ever experienced. you don't need to be a professional - anyone can do it.
I absolutely love In the hall of the mountain King. It's my favorite classical song. I have been playing upright bass/bass guitar since September 2015, and it is by far my favorite instrument.
@@richardwebb2348 You know what he meant though right? So no need for being snippy. In The Hall of the Mountain King is an orchestral piece that does also have a choral version. Oh wait.. that kind of makes the other guy right Mr. Know-it-all. Don't be mean in trying to make yourself feel superior.
Sure wish this(flash mob) hadn't gone out of vogue. Good music is good for the soul. It uplifts and regenerates. Thanks to all the musicians and dancers who have participated in these wonderful "surprises" for the public!
I would have given him money just for him being bothered to carry that huge ass "guitar" like thing into town :-D I play piano and I feel like that ways more than my keyboard an pa system combined. :-D
James Ray Basses aren't that bad--I used to play one. They are, after all, mostly air :-) If you've got to carry one for a ways, you put your hand at the bottom of the upper bout (the wide part at the tope of the body), and where it curves in forms a ledge, tilt it back slightly so the neck is behind you, and it's pretty well balanced. I wouldn't want to walk a couple of miles carrying one, but it's not hard for a reasonable distance.
James Ray They're typically 20-30 pounds, depending on how it's kited out, whether it's a 3/4 size or full-size, etc. It's roughly twice the weight of a bass guitar. Because the body has so much volume, it's "clunky" more than "heavy".
Nigeria ???? Sure . if your greedy government ever decides to do something for the people instead of stuffing their own pockets . OR , maybe you could ask one of the hundreds of Nigerian " princes " that have all those millions of dollars stuck in a Nigerian bank that they so very much need help in getting out of the country . hahahaha.
Superb!! Played at Ul. Stefana Zeromskiego, Zielona Góra (city), Lubúsquia (voivodia/province), Poland. (I like to address correctly where theese mobs happens) Ty for your performance.
I was never aware that there was such a thing as a five string Bass Fiddle? It just goes to show that you can always learn something even at an advanced age!!

Been a classical music fan for a lonnnng time. Certainly from before any of the musicians were born. This is about my favorite piece here, and I watch it every time I run across it. Great music.
That was simply amazing! The pacing was great (and the approaching of all musicians from 4:53 was very nice touch). Unluckily you can´t hear that, but i applause to you! :)

UA-cam has taught me that if a bassist randomly shows up in a public place, he didn’t come alone.
We should have this in every country in every huge mall or in parks around the world. Make music, not war. Bless these angels who work so hard to become the wonderful musicians they are, and for bringing us their music.Long life to them.
I absolutely agree Pat , I've never been fortunate enough to be present at any Flash Mob offerings , but I totally support the concept .
But daddy! I want war!
yes. yes. lets make it so common and mundane that it becomes meaningless
So enjoyable....

That was priceless. What a way to give your children n early appreciation of classical music

i LOVE FLASH MOBS! Especially when it is classical music!!!
Hall of the Mountain King is one of my faves. I learned a piano version years and years ago and it was always a favorite to play, and as a performance at piano recitals.
В пещере Горного короля
Great innit! 69 and a music video can still bring a tear to the eye.
Why can't I just ONCE run into one of these? Guess I need to vacation in Europe.
I have lived in three different European countries (so far) and I've never been fortunate enough to witness an orchestra flashmob :(
I am living in Paris and have never had any chance of running into any flash mob like this
or buy a ticket to a concert, anywhere on this planetXD
start singing in a choir, that will do it - performing as a part of a choir together with an orchestra is the greatest thing I ever experienced. you don't need to be a professional - anyone can do it.
Just make sure you go somewhere nice, avoid England and Eastern Europe like the plague.
I love these. I get to ‘travel’ the world without a passport and see such beautiful cities.
I'm from the UK and find this amazing.....Well done to you all xx
I absolutely love In the hall of the mountain King. It's my favorite classical song. I have been playing upright bass/bass guitar since September 2015, and it is by far my favorite instrument.
it is not a 'song' - no voice, no words

Coś pięknego.
Can’t get enough. Thank you for a very bright moment in time.
Let the muses dance and sing. Thank you, Bachusorchestra.
Poland👍wow Zielona Góra☺
The city looks relaxing, and people are joyful. I wish my country were like that. Great performance!
This is my country, Poland 😊
@@ajek31you are blessed
this does my heart good. thank you to those that bring music to us all.
wunderbar ,danke,... das war eines der schönsten Konzerte an denen ich ganz früher selbst mitgewirt habe ,danke für diese Varieante der Freiheit
I actually love the bits where the bells come in
What a beautiful plaza. The orchestra was awesome. Hope to see more sometime.
WHAT THE WORLD NEEDS MORE OF !!! THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS!
Thank you for letting me listen to a wonderful performance.
Pieknie. Proszę częściej Was podziwiać
That’s what makes me love Europe.
brilliant - any way we can introduce people to true classical music and proper musical instruments has to be applauded.

Oooooh yessss baby them woodwinds came through towards the end.
Boy! How I would have loved to be there for this...
Beautiful music, a few coins, and many happy people, young and old alike, enjoying it. WOW, this is what music if all about. Thank you!
I just like the fact that the bassist got some money for tuning up.
What about doing concert by tunning only next time :P
I like that he looks kinda like Mister Bates from Downton Abbey. Which left me seriously confused at the beginning. o.o
I would have given him money just for him being bothered to carry that huge ass "guitar" like thing into town :-D

Super że o takich ewentach w Polsce dowiaduje się z zagranicy 😂😂😂👍
No nie!?
Following the guy with a base is a promissory note that something good is going to happen.
I just wished one day we could have an orchestra in Nigeria, i so much love it.
I'm sure they have them. Check the local conservatoire

All you need is to start. Find a friend to play music with. If it never becomes big, you will still never regret it.
Thanks guys for the positive comment guys.
Next time I see a random bassist turn up in town! I’m gonna be sticking around.
Bachus classic Orquestra.
Apresentaçao Maravilhosa

3:20 XD the guy walking his kids in the top left part of the screen.
I was going to mention that! I would have done the same thing as him lol

omg lol, complety would have missed that. thank you for helping make my day!
I'm like, "WTF? Is he part of it?" Nope. Just a guy having fun with his kids. At least, I hope they were his kids, you know what I mean?

I love the way the kids are taught to be generous. It happens in my country, too
Just love the flashmob culture
I enjoy the music and the reactions of the on watchers. More needed.
Хорошо бы так выйти и послушать оркестр у дома!

Oh that was freaking incredible. I have always loved the Peer Gynt Suite - it would have been terrific to have been a passerby that day!
Loved it...the better side of humanity combining efforts to produce beauty and inspiration using sound. Thank you.

the bassoons....were amazing xD

More music (like this), and less aggression, so we all can enjoy life!
Of course, “In the Hall of the Mountain King” depicts bloodthirsty trolls who wants to kill an intruder and then eat him. No aggression there.

Magnificent. I had a music professor tell me that Grieg was a "second rate composer." Ha. Loved this video
Whaat!? I love Grieg! his string quartet and piano concerto are my favorite pieces of classical music.
Just goes to prove the adage: Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I think the professor got it wrong!
