Telecasters are mad underrated for heavy music, that signature "tele twang" that the boomer guitarists harp on about translates to crazy defined pick attack when playing high gain... Just make sure you have a good noise gate for all that 60 cycle hum if you're using a traditional style single coil tele 😅
