K merijn, i have been hearing these "complaints" bout your calves ye.if you want to train them proporly, Then Do NOT train them everyday and let them calves have a recovery/rest day. And for exercises .. calf raise and al that wont work that much ok. Nordic curls are the best calve exercises ok. Do it and experience growth !
Meraijn, do you consider lat pulldowns and cable rows compounds? it makes sense because they're similar to pullups and dB row but people say machine is not a compound so it's confusing
can you make a more in depth video in your training philosophy? I heard you should only train the muscle once a week? what if I'm doing calisthenics, can I do pullups to muscular failure 3x a week on a caloroc deficient?
Don't go to failure 3x a week... Once is more than enough. And if you are doing more than 12 reps per set, slap on some weight on you. That's pretty much all there is to it. And making gains in a caloric deficit is pretty hard if you're not a total beginner. I'd suggest to at least do it on maintenance cals.
