I'm sorry but can we talk about how the Hero Safety Commission tried to ASSASSINATE Re-Destro? And then still got bodied and lost their leader? Safety commission has pure violence in their veins. They literally trained Hawks to be happy on the outside but go for fatal blows(which isn't something most heroes do). But luckily for them, it was just a Twice clone. If it weren't for the Clone's weakened body, it could've destroyed the building with one of Re-Destro's burden blasts and then he could've warned the other villains that the heroes were trying something shady. So even though they got beaten, they were really lucky. Well, lucky is a bit of a stretch. Because now AFO is about to break out his real body. Meaning that there would be two people with the AFO quirk running around as well as seven almost High-End Nomu, Dabi, Toga, Spinner, Skeptic, and any other members of the liberation army who escaped roaming the streets. Things are not looking good for the heroes I can't talk too much about the OP since a lot of it hasn't come to fruition yet. But what I can talk about is Izuku and Tomura since that's a desire that's already been stated. The way Tomura's body melts away and you see the face of AFO in the smoke before Tenko stumbles out is amazing. Deku looking so emotional to see him and reaching his hand out. Deku's eyes look so dull for most of the OP, but they look so bright when he sees Shigaraki. I love it.
Sorry for the loss of Native, but I will admit that the start of the video had me laughing. You know seeing all that Chaos a thought came to my Mind, most Villians would have been extremly useful Rescue Heros. Compress can Transport and "Freeze" anything doesnt matter who many or who heavy. Twice is an Unlimited "Workforce". Sceptic can "produce" an nearly unlimited Amounts of Workers. Shigaraki can clear any Amount of Debris without Problem. Trumpet can "Incite" anyone to get them more Energy. Geten can Freeze shut any Bleeding Wound. Overhaul would be an God Tier "Healer". Re-Destro can also Clear any amount of Debris.
Welcome to my favorite arc of MHA. This…is an arc that’s very personal to me. For now, we’ll leave it at that. I got some…good…bad? Analysis today. The aftermath of this war. It hits SO fast. Because OF COURSE people feel the heroes failed. And in all honesty…they did. Back in Season 3, I truly believe that AFO lost to All-Might on purpose. AFO was out for maybe a few MINUTES after the United States of Smash. But then he was up with nothing but a bruise on his cheek. (In stark contrast to the knocked off face) But in the time he was arrested, AFO ABSOLUTELY could have decided to kill All-Might and more cops on the way out. But he didn’t. And this…is why. All-Might dying people would understand why he couldn’t achieve his lofty goal. But by forcing him to RETIRE? It’s like saying I WON’T help. And worse, that would reflect bad on Deku if anyone knew of OFA. He failed to keep a semblance of control outside preventing OFA being stolen. And…that’s terrible to blame Deku because NONE of this was anyone’s fault but AFS and his forces. But when lives are lost or even knocked off-kilter and a hero doesn’t get there? That’s a failure. They stopped the apocalypse proper, but NO ONE has seen the heroes get forced back like this. And just keep this in mind. All of this, yielded about 15,000 arrests….out of 100,000 members of the MLA/PLF. and everything that you can think of goes haywire. If you fail to get all 100k at once, all you succeed in doing is start an earlier attack. Which…is more or less exactly what happened. The cost of the MANY lives in this battle weigh on each hero. Police. 1st responder. Remember the Provisional License exam in season 3? This disaster sight is near identical. But it all is real. We see people that ARE saved. But seeing what needs to be done FOR them to be saved is proof just how many weren’t. You say the kids can’t take this. The ADULTS can’t take this. The public is sick of the chaos, the law enforcement is sick of it. But…to have HEROES sick and unable to take this…is just so much worse. It’s petrifying. And Uraraka’s face watching the hero quit mid disaster says it all. Society was shaken to its core with the STAIN arc. But here? We have seen the power that can restart the dark age we saw in season 5 episode 2. We SAW the world AFO controlled. He broke it down, and could BRAG about it. This…is the breaking point. But it’s not one, it’s MANY. We see the last move Twice makes by having a copy of Redestro. And it SHATTERS the public safety commission. Anime exclusive as to how the scenario played out. We only saw Mera the guy who BADLY needs coffee and the leader of the public safety commission in his arms as they watch Redestro melt away. Here we see Redestro was ACTUALLY trying to locate Hawks. Which could be connected to how Dabi found Hawk’s name and past. And this is GREATLY appreciated as a change. This episode was a bit heavy on the recap. But the past is never more important than it is now. And I’m ready to show how deep these rabbit holes go. This is GREAT stuff.
Not the most pressing thing, but yes, I like they highlighted Koda's uses in this shot: something none of hte power-types could do. Uraraka and Froppy are both solid at combat, but are the top in the class at Search and rescue: Koda's largely only strong OUTSIDE combat, save distraction tactics. I wish they slipped in more spy/stealth moments for Hagakure.

That's why it's so important show Uraraka quickly and safely removing heavy debris and floating people out of harms way in a manner the powerhouses couldn't do as safely. OR indeed showing how efficiently Koda can search a large area with feral animals: I wish he used rats more, imagine how quickly THEY could scour a disaster area... I ALSO feel though there's a lot of creative ways they could play with Zero Gravity in combat that they haven't yet
@@elephantmarch Adding to the Zero Gravity thing. Almost all of the quirks could be used so much better. Hanta could be so good if he just used his quirk right. Same goes for Mineta, if he used his quirk a bit different he could be in the top 5 of class 1a.

I guess that's kiiind of the point though; Bakguou and Deku aren't JUST the top in the class (in combat at least) because of their objectively OP Quirks, but because they use them in the most creative ways. I DO feel at this point in the story though we should be seeing everyone using their Quirks in the most optimum way; drawing inspiration from them all. I kinda wish we could get a mometn where Bakugou has been beaten down by an opponent, and a group of classmates he formally deemed extras rush in and save him.

All the heroes signed up in an era of peace, when All Might was guarding over them. They thought their job would be to stop a villain now and then, some robberies, safe people out of burning buildings, making some appearances in talk shows, stuff like that. None of them thought they would be fighting in a war where the chance to die is unbelievably high. None of them expected to face horror like that war zone. What is now expected of them is not what they thought would be their job. Imagine you wanna play a bit Minecraft survival and all of a sudden Elden Ring appears on your screen. The most likely thought would be: Nope, I‘m out of here.

I decided to comment this theory/idea separately just in case. Dislaimer: This is NOT a Manga Spoiler, but I also am caught up to the manga, so my speculation below (which I theorized long before a Tartarus breakout happened in the manga) may or may not hint at something that DOES or DOES NOT happen in the future. So if anyone reading this as an anime-only would rather not risk it, feel free to stop reading here. While you were talking about which villains could possibly side with the heroes, I want to say that something you didn't bring up was the fact that AFO is going to be breaking out, and could, if he wanted too, take any of those top-tier villains Quirks for himself since we know Muscular, Stain, Kurogiri, Moonfish, Overhaul, etc. are in Tartarus. AFO having/taking any of those Quirks, but specifically Overhaul (Chisaki does still have his Quirk even if he can't use it), is something of nightmares. AFO would be able to heal himself with Overhaul if he took it. Or could even further modify Shigaraki to speed up those modifications. The only thing in the heroes favor is that AFO might not be fully aware of the Overhaul Quirk's full potential or existence.
It sucks how much this episode was recap 😭. I’m so so excited for you guys to see the rest of the season (hopefully there’ll be little to no recap lol)
Spoiler: I think it was revealed by Hawks in his backstory episode that came out of nowhere, he's in his mom's house with Jeanist, saying that now that the hero safety commission no longer has a chairwoman, he is no longer chained down to do what they want, or something along those lines Edit : Just checked, he doesn't say she died specifically but he does say : "The safety commission is effectively shut down for now...so there's no one around to issue orders...I'm free...of my shackles."

Yeah I was hoping that they would add more scenes to the Redestro vs Edgeshot battle, they did actually, but is just like 30 seconds of new stuff, in the manga is even worse they just show one pannel of Edgeshot standing victorious in front of Redestro. It's one of the most disappointing things in MHA. Redestro was such a waste of an interesting character, better get used to this happening from now on in MHA, the waste of great character potential and neck breaking story pacing speed.

Dislaimer: This is NOT a Manga Spoiler, but I also am caught up to the manga, so my speculation below (which I theorized long before a Tartarus breakout happened in the manga) may or may not hint at something that DOES or DOES NOT happen in the future. While you were talking about which villains could possibly side with the heroes, I want to say that something you didn't bring up was the fact that AFO is going to be breaking out, and could, if he wanted too, take any of those top-tier villains Quirks for himself since we know Muscular, Stain, Kurogiri, Moonfish, Overhaul, etc. are in Tartarus.
AFO having/taking any of those Quirks, but specifically Overhaul (Chisaki does still have his Quirk even if he can't use it), is something of nightmares. AFO would be able to heal himself with Overhaul if he took it. Or could even further modify Shigaraki to speed up those modifications. The only thing in the heroes favor is that AFO might not be fully aware of the Overhaul Quirk's full potential or existence.

I think it was revealed by Hawks in his backstory episode that came out of nowhere, he's in his mom's house with Jeanist, saying that now that the hero safety commission no longer has a chairwoman, he is no longer chained down to do what they want, or something along those lines
Edit : Just checked, he doesn't say she died specifically but he does say :
"The safety commission is effectively shut down for now...so there's no one around to issue orders...I'm free...of my shackles."

Just want explain the recap being so long, the anime is starting to catch up close to the manga and Horikoshi has been having health problems and a lot of breaks

Yeah I was hoping that they would add more scenes to the Redestro vs Edgeshot battle, they did actually, but is just like 30 seconds of new stuff, in the manga is even worse they just show one pannel of Edgeshot standing victorious in front of Redestro. It's one of the most disappointing things in MHA. Redestro was such a waste of an interesting character, better get used to this happening from now on in MHA, the waste of great character potential and neck breaking story pacing speed.
