I personally have always loved this game. It was one of my first GameCube games and I remember when I got it for Christmas and my sister got Billy Hatcher and all of us cousins proceeded to play this and just be absolutely enthralled. Just the colors, the music, and the graphics at the time were incredible to us. I will never understand why people hate this game because for all it’s flaws I enjoy everything about it. I think the only gripe I have is that one lightfoot trial, I can never beat it without a turbo controller.
Hello Bill, I am a newer subscriber of yours. I came across your Diddy Kong Racing let’s play a few weeks ago when I was looking for a youtuber to watch play it while I played it. Your channel name caught my eye, very creative and I love it. And then you put that poll up about doing StarFox adventures, which is my favorite game. (if you couldn’t tell by my name and picture lol) but I wanted to say to you that you are a very talented content creator and I really enjoy your let’s playing style and plan on being an avid viewer of yours for years to come! I got stuck placing the rocks on the vents. I didn’t think you could pick them back up, and was looking for more rocks for like an hour while being pecked at by those f*%{^=[ birds. Your video got me through the section!!!
Your recent lets plays of RE and star fox have really given me the urge to dig out the GameCube, so glad I didn't give in to temptation and download RE on the switch
28:00 Those flying enemies are like the Cliff Racers in Morrowind. Irritating nuisances that you would rather would just bugger off. At least Morrowind provides a way to ensure a temporary reprieve, though. These guys are relentless.
Well... A day or two after this game came out, Rare became part of Microsoft. I imagine *that* could be indicative of how the devs felt about this game.
Somehow making Sabre an official ally in Star Fox Adventures could've been done, I think. Maybe it'd work now, seeing as there are extensions on games, but perhaps not when Gamecube was all the rage.
I really do wonder how this game would have turned out if Star Fox was never slapped onto it. Part of me feels like the world would have been further developed and the game could have really been something of its own.
I think that if the game was just left dinosaur planet it would have had more chance of getting a sequel because now if Nintendo ever makes another star fox game they'll look at the traditional star fox games rather than this. That's why I wish it was just dinosaur planet.
