There is a bit of a difference there - specifically, the Zebesians (which were actually just an offshoot of the Space Pirates that conquered the planet Zebes and wiped out the planet's previous inhabitants) were actively in a constant state of war with no intent of a ceasefire, whereas the Takorans in F-Zero had already lost a war which devastated their civilization and were now in diplomatic talks to request aid. It's one thing to fight against an active threat. It's another to kick a former enemy while they're down.
I agree that the white cat is a great option for beginners... But I actually find it more difficult to best master with that ship compared to the fire stingray. Btw, your vids are great 👍
