- Owning a Sailboat means WORK. The Trampolines on Trade Runner were getting a bit dangerous but it was a job Id been putting off as it was not going to be easy. We found ourselves in a great spot to finally do it thoughts there was an Aluminium welder nearby and this was a vital part of the puzzle.
I hope you enjoy this DIY episode.

Great to see you guys back on the water ready for more adventures!
That looked like a serious pain in the arse. Bet you sweated a bucket getting the tramp off in the heat.
Oh man, you wouldn't believe!
I'm a welder it can be hard to weld corroded ally especially with MIG they should have used TIG with high silica filler rod's.
Ah well, too late now. Think the TIG machine was broken anyway.
glad you back on the water !
Great video cheers.
U guys look great!
Your also going to have to buff and polish your hull's to make it look good. I bet that you have a lot of work to do before it's ship shape.
haha, buffing and polishing comes way down the list for me, basically just before I want to sell a boat.
@@SailingLearningByDoingAre you planning on selling it anytime soon? You did say that you wanted a Cyber 48. Is that the plan still and do you expect that to be your next boat in let's say two years possibly?
Hey mate, great to see you all back on board! Can you post the details of Steve's business in Lembar, would be handy to have the details!
Steve doesn't have a web-site as far as I know. Ph +6281237167818
Looking forward to the new adventures with all three of you cheers from Australia
Coming soon John
Looking at how Eli is growing you'll also be putting netting on the life lines before you know it.
Yeah will need to be thinking about that in a few months. Gonna be hard to baby-proof this boat.
We know that job and getting those bolt ropes in is a pain. Good quality tramp material though.
Yeah exactly
Another great video. Now I don't trust trampolines now knowing how easy it is to fall through. Marie, Eli looking well And cute smile Eli has
Catch you next video Happy Family Vern
