For everyone asking why the dog doesn’t already have a muzzle on before we start training.. It’s because most owners don’t understand what they have in their hands until it gets out of control. By the time someone suggests a muzzle to them it’s not so easy to condition the dog to a muzzle. They tried putting a muzzle on him but he pulls it right off. I instructed them on what to do to get him comfortable with the muzzle so the next training session will go a lot smoother!

Squatch is an amazing family dog! In our home, with our children, Pomeranians and Husky. He is a gentle giant. So True about the ( Glorified Dog Walkers ) And those two dog trainers the family already tried are a laugh. Omg. They didn't have a clue what they were doing. They are certainly no dog trainers.
There are a couple of other dog trainers that I can think of that have handled very aggressive dog as well. One is Tom Davis of Upstate Canine Academy, the other; Cesar Millan.
This breed should not be in that climate !!! It does not belong there and that makes 'm grumpy and easily triggered. I'm afraid this good meaning procedure's nevertheless won't work 'cause you're trying to fit a cylinder in a square hole. Some breeds are just too 'instinctive' and tuned to their natural surroundings.
To add to this, I think people need to understand that dogs are not humans. Yes, there is a certain line that becomes excessive and actually abusive/cruel, but dogs need and live off of structure and part of that is communication and reasonable corrections as needed. Dog to dog corrections can be very intense, much more than what the average person will do. I love my dog to death and she returns the same. I could raise a hand to her and act like I am going to hit her and she wouldn’t even flinch, because I don’t do that to her. However, there have been times I’ve had to correct her and she understands. If in two times I say leave it and you don’t, then you’re going to feel it the third time. I don’t mean hit I mean correction with the leash. This lady was walking by with her dog one time, which was lunging, snapping, and snarling. My dog started to get excited, but I had already told her twice with light correction to leave it. So, I corrected the third time that would relay how serious I meant it. Which made her stop and do what was expected of her. The lady had the audacity to try and say I was being abusive to my dog and that I needed to do positive reinforcement instead. To which I said,” First off, that wasn’t abusive, I wasn’t beating my dog to death I gave her a solid, swift, single correction with the leash and a firm tone to stop her behavior. She ignored the first two times I told her leave it. I don’t need someone, who doesn’t know her, to tell me how to train and correct my dog. As you see she stopped, is paying attention to me, and behaving. Second, how is the positive reinforcement working for your dog because that behavior is not okay, that could get your dog hurt or someone else hurt. It’s not the dog’s fault, it’s the owner if so. Finally, I still do positive reinforcement, but my dog requires more assertive communication when being handled and misbehaving. She has a heightened prey drive from her bloodline, which were used for hunting dogs, so her focus will quickly turn tunnel vision, if I do not correct it and pull her out of it. When she goes tunnel vision, treats and other means to try and draw her attention do nothing. She is dead set on one thing. The correction is the only effective thing to give her something else to think about and pull out of the hyper-fixation. I’ve worked extensively with her and have found what works. Maybe you should just learn that you don’t know everything and to leave other people alone, looks like you and your dog need some more training too.” The lady just turned and walked off.
@@christinematt5530That’s not true, my husband and I just got a 9 week old puppy and he is mean. I’ve raised several dogs before of varying breeds and we’re just flummoxed 🤷🏽♀️
Dog training is really Training PEOPLE how to actually handle and treat dogs in order for them to live a fulfilling life, especially when you purchase specific breeds
DD shows such empathy towards these dogs. I note how he comments on the mental and emotional struggle that dogs like this go through to change not just their behaviour, but their thinking. He may be instructing the owner, but he is so observant of the dog's emotional state, and aware of how the dog is coping. DD's compassion during the training process is a lesson in itself.
Agree, not until I read your comment, did I realize I've watched enough DOGDADDY, been to a class, and I too have a more empathetic approach to MY animals.❤❤❤❤❤
Squatch is doing what he is trained to do. Guarding his territory. You are an intruder in his territory. In all, Squatch is starting to understand. He is still hesitant but he is starting to be more confident and comfortable. His owners were tense at first but I see his owner was building his confidence as well. Good boy Squatch! Great job DD in helping another dog and family.
All livestock guardian dogs are smart, independent, and have natural guarding instincts. They typically don't need anyone to tell them how to do their jpb and can be stubborn. I have a Great Pyrenees and a Central Asian Shepherd, both LGDs.
Perfect work Augusto, no dog is too big for you, you are always so forward thinking, you take up the biggest challenges, you never back down, you never back away, you don’t give up, you transformed this giant dog and made his big family happy, the Dad enjoyed being the hero who will continue your good work at home. What a great feeling for the Dad to feel so useful and effective in helping his big dog. The children were in awe of their Dad. You gave them that Augusto, they got what they wanted, a well-behaved big dog that fits into their family now, what a great gift from you to them.
Great message and worded perfectly. I think the dog and owner will have a few more sessions and then can take him anywhere, but God help the person that tries to steal avocados on Squash's watch!
We're fostering a mastiff/bloodhound mix who wasn’t socialized enough by his previous owners. He was going to be put down so we took him. We've had him 2 months and he's a huge baby... if he knows you. It took a couple of hours to gain his trust and then he moved in. We're working on his stranger danger way of thinking. Walks are a challenge, but we won't give up on him. Now he's muzzle trained and getting better on the leash. I'm so happy to see someone work with these reactive dogs. They have so much potential and a lot of love to give.
Thank you for saving the dog and seeing the potential. I also rescued a young (1.7 yrs old) mini aussie, she was a lost dog that the owner didn't choose to reclaim, even after he was contacted. We believe he, purposely let her go or dumped her. She also has issues, yet so much potential. We are really trying to work through them. The instructional videos are so helpful and beneficial and honestly motivating. I really appreciate having them since we can't afford a trainer. We're elderly and even with my limited knowledge, energy, time and resources I'm still making the effort. People really need to know what they are taking on before buying or giving animals as gifts. They need alot of love attention, expense, training time and more. But again thanking for your efforts. 😊
I’m so glad that he’s really addressing the owners and their nerves. It’s hard when the owners are scared of their own dog. I’m happy for the owners and their doggy family member.
Dog Daddy, you are so brave, and I commend you for fulfilling your "calling" to help these dogs. You bring hope to owners who would not otherwise have hope for their pets.
The owner is a smart man, you could see as soon as DD got the instructions across to the man, what the objective was.... the mans ability to read his dogs body language got better & better quickly.
If Dog Daddy can’t tame and train the dog nobody can! You are and will always be the best! I love you and the way you respect these dogs and train them!❤❤❤❤God bless you ✝️
Remarkable work. You can tell the owner was very nervous because he kept applying pressure when you told him to just say leave it without the pressure. In this case you were very wise to provide instructions at a distance. I would like to see Zak the Quack take on this dog….lol
I rarely comment ... But just want to tell you ... I was impressed!! The way you walked the Dad and dog through, and the explanations were perfect!! ...
Actually surprised Squatch wasnt muzzled on your first meet. Big powerful dog who needed a way different environment. And a different trainer!! Well done Dog Daddy! You have helped so many but big guy like this with an attitude are most grateful!
That training session was amazing! A lot of dog to work with. The information you gave him was great! Can't wait to see how Squatch acts once he's had some more training. You are the #1 dog trainer!! Much love Augusto 💖
I have 2 brindled English mastiffs that are no joke...I call them the 4 F's. Four hundred pounds of Fur, Fangs and F*** off. They're AWESOME. DD managing ONE unruly mastiff is NO joke. Mad respect.
This is interesting. I had wondered how you would deal with a giant, aggressive breed of dog that is too big to overpower.. We rescued a dog that had been abused and neglected. He was in terrible shape when we found him: a few missing teeth, sticks imbedded in his skin, very thin. He's healthy now--has grown to 170 lbs and is a livestock guardian breed. Training him has been no joke, but we're making progress.
This is such a great video. I really feel the owners personal victory as he sees the change starting and the dog starting to take instructions and make that progress. This was actually a really heart warming story Can't wait, I hope you post lesson 2
Beautiful sensitivity in how you handled this dog and how you ensured that he was given the messages that he was doing good when he was able to follow commands. Wonderful to watch you help this family.
Fantastic work Augusto!!! Man! - That big monster tried to bite even the owner! The metal chair you were carrying was a good & necessary idea! But, as time went by, I could see monster mastiff was actually learning! Each pass he seemed to improve. Let's hope the owner has plenty of practice before your next session.
Just love ur heart and courage! Praying for Rolex and yourself!!! Thank you for being “THE EXAMPLE OF LOVE” over care of animals ❤ Gods continued blessings
Bravo to this owner. I made a comment about people buying dogs they shouldn't have but understanding he had a job for this dog puts it in perspective. And he's going above and beyond to get help.
Dog daddy you are a Saint for giving this dog a fair chance in life and such a blessing to the family to finally understand how to train and handle their dog. You are Amazing.
So much Respect for you man!! This family must have been beside themselves when 2 other trainers gave up on Squatch. Thank you, thank you for never giving up on any dog and their owners. Wish we could clone you. We need more Dog Daddy's in the world!
Absolutely love hearing the conversation between you and the owners!! When Dog Daddy has to grab a CHAIR for some protection and accomplishes a great degree of behavior change that the chair is no longer needed - THAT'S WHAT BEING A GREAT TRAINER IS ALL ABOUT!! Those "positive" action trainers and doggie behaviorist could never in a million years work with dog! Fantastic job Augusto! Can't wait to see part 2!
Dog Daddy KNOWS dogs! He is in tune with the dog and helps us understand what’s going on. You can see significant differences from the first meet to the last exercise in this video. It’s a long road for these owners but good to them for trying to find ways to help Squatch out and live in harmony. Looking forward to seeing his progress.
It's a good thing that DD has changed what he shows in his videos and shows more of the actual training as opposed to showing mostly the most difficult part BEFORE the actual training. Most people assume, wrongly, that the early part where the dog is fighting is part of the training. It is NOT. It is just his technique of getting dogs to where they will listen. The real training begins once the dog realizes, on its own, that nothing bad will happen. That what most critics don't get, or refuse to get.
And that's how its done to All you people/trainers who like to bad mouth the Best 🙌 Actions speak louder than words and Dog Daddy not only talks about it, he proves it by his Actions 😉👍Dog Daddy ROCK'S!!!🥰🤗💖🤗🥰
Such a wonderful sight to see. You are able to help the owners start the training right away. That’s fantastic. Love how you are able to make a difference for people who have a dog they really want to be able to have under control and be safe to be around.
As a Tibetan nomadic background myself, they are our protectors from wild animals. They don’t harm people. We call them bhoe-kyi, which means Dog of Tibet. Anyway great to see A dog daddy training a beast finally.
my shih tsu mix acts like this dog to people he doesnt know....come to find out shih tsu dogs were used as watch dogs in tibet. they would alert which would get the attention of the mastiff on duty or the owner or sometimes both.
@@angelinacamacho8575 Oh. I had read that it was the Lhasa Apso that did that. Its name translates to "bark lion sentry dog." Maybe they both had that job? Or maybe what I read was shyte.
@@NavvyMom it wasnt their main purpose since that was to just be a bed warmer or heating pad for royalty but it was a secondary function. also they were made by combining the Pekingese and the Lhasa Apso. the lhasa itself comes from the Tibetan terrier and herding tibetian dog breeds.
GREAT job Dog Daddy. This was the very first time I haven’t seen you take control of the dog yourself first and then give the dog back “after” it was calm. I enjoyed watching you instruct and inform the owner “how to” control his pet and “why” his pet was acting like it was. Just another example of how truly experienced and helpful you really are. I look forward to seeing another video on this dog and how he is progressing.
Most people don't understand that a human child under the age of 6, takes 40 seconds for the brain to process the information or the experienced enough to respond verbally. Dog Daddy understands that different brains have different processing speeds.
Great owner. He was so good at explaining how dogdaddy helped and good st explaining What the problem for the family was and how he felt. Dogdaddy rescued a dog life again
I am so excited for the owners. Thank you Dog Daddy for the incredible work you do to help dog owners across the world. I have a question. I have a female mastiff mix. She is an amazing dog. She is very strong. She is aggressively friendly, if that makes sense. She absolutely loves people and other dogs. She pulls so hard when she sees someone or another dog. I try to keep her close to me, but it doesn't always work. If she sees a person pull into our parking lot at home, she will not budge until that person gets out of the car and pets her. Most people love her. How do I keep her under control so she doesn't pull?
Beautiful Squatch! Need to build a good relationship with owner: trust, understanding, obedience. Squatch knows you love him, just need firm guidance. Thank you for giving him a great life!
Just wow! Great job. But, I don't think I'd breed that dog personally. Most people won't do what DD and Squatch's people are willing to do to train him. And as they said, he came to them with that personality which would be passed onto his offspring. But, I'd love to have that dog myself! Big, BIG dog lover here haha.
I don't think they should be breeding at all, breeding should be done to better the breed, not on a whim with some random breed you know nothing about 🤷♂️

Maybe you should just learn that you don’t know everything and to leave other people alone, looks like you and your dog need some more training too.”
The lady just turned and walked off.
The “love him to death” lady sounds like she has no clue how to train dogs.
I’m glad the owner acknowledges the difficulties with his dog. Smart man.
Smart and loving 😊🤗❤
Wonder why it’s this way in the first place?!? Puppies aren’t mean so someone taught this dog to be this way? Or it was a feral dog to start with?
OIC he was bought & came to these ppl as he is! 😮
@@christinematt5530That’s not true, my husband and I just got a 9 week old puppy and he is mean. I’ve raised several dogs before of varying breeds and we’re just flummoxed 🤷🏽♀️
Great owner wanting to learn and puts the work in to correct the dogs issues. That dog can be super dangerous if not trained properly.
What a handsome dog with a good hearted owner. Thanks for helping them!!!
Dog training is really Training PEOPLE how to actually handle and treat dogs in order for them to live a fulfilling life, especially when you purchase specific breeds
Yes!!😮😮

DD shows such empathy towards these dogs. I note how he comments on the mental and emotional struggle that dogs like this go through to change not just their behaviour, but their thinking. He may be instructing the owner, but he is so observant of the dog's emotional state, and aware of how the dog is coping. DD's compassion during the training process is a lesson in itself.
Agree, not until I read your comment, did I realize I've watched enough DOGDADDY, been to a class, and I too have a more empathetic approach to MY animals.❤❤❤❤❤
I find it really strange when the DD gives succinct instructions but they then use other words rather than what they’ve been told to say
Dog Daddy has a deep understanding of how dogs think and behave. It is extraordinary!
The deepest EVER!!!💪
Kudos to the owners for helping this dog.
It’s way beyond that dude. The dog is biting the owner/handler. Of course the dog is on one hut it isn’t trained the slightest. It’s ridiculous.
He is literally biting his owner. Nobody should own a dog like this without knowing what the hell they're getting into.
Wow! Thank you. I didn't see that in the video and I didn't hear dog daddy explain. 😂
Always a critic!
😂
Does biting the owner is doing his job?lol. The dog needs help and is not doing its job, and if he attacks the owner, he attacks everything.
Your comment and heart are beautiful, it's all worded perfectly❤
💖✨
Great message and worded perfectly. I think the dog and owner will have a few more sessions and then can take him anywhere, but God help the person that tries to steal avocados on Squash's watch!
My baIIs stink. On gang.
Great message ❤
Work at Walmart superstore parking lot..many dump pets.. coyotes get em. Heartbreak 💔
Finally an owner that can handle direction from Dog Daddy! I cannot wait for part two I'm so excited.
You know it's serious business when August pull out a whole chair
A WHOLE chair😮😮😮😊
Lion tamer
Right I thought of a lion tamers too😮
I cannot praise you enough!!! Please keep helping these owners with learning how to master their dogs.dogs are a families best friend..thank you 🫶💕
Where Angels fear to tread - that's where you'll find Dog Daddy. Making heaven one star at a time.
Beautiful ❤️ 🙏
I’m so glad that he’s really addressing the owners and their nerves.
It’s hard when the owners are scared of their own dog.
I’m happy for the owners and their doggy family member.
Dog Daddy, you are so brave, and I commend you for fulfilling your "calling" to help these dogs. You bring hope to owners who would not otherwise have hope for their pets.
The owner is a smart man, you could see as soon as DD got the instructions across to the man, what the objective was.... the mans ability to read his dogs body language got better & better quickly.
Love the way this man encourages the owners. Judgement free and full of positivity and praise. You are a Legend DD!
0:31 why did this guy at this time add extra barking sounds lol
Dog Daddy, you're the best!! Thank you for helping this dog and family!!❤!!
If Dog Daddy can’t tame and train the dog nobody can! You are and will always be the best! I love you and the way you respect these dogs and train them!❤❤❤❤God bless you ✝️
I usually don't leave a comment. WOW, YOU ARE FREAKING GOOD!!
wait, he can tame LIONS too?! Wow, simply amazing.
😂😂😂 he did look like a lion! And then using the chair added to the look!
My thought, too. Especially with the chair. Amazing.
LOL. Me too!
Ever see him enter a wolf pak?
He has, while he did, my husband chewed his fingernails watching.
Haha. 🤣
Share to everyone... this is awesome. He understands the dogs body language and knows what it's thinking and knows how to correct bad behavior
Remarkable work. You can tell the owner was very nervous because he kept applying pressure when you told him to just say leave it without the pressure. In this case you were very wise to provide instructions at a distance. I would like to see Zak the Quack take on this dog….lol
💯
I ran right into a Tibetan mastiff at the Vets office..beautiful dog
Dog Daddy you are an amazing Man...
Dog Daddy saves the family again!❤
The owner did brilliantly and seems more than happy with the way things are going for his dog with your guidance!! 😊👍
You have helped so many but big guy like this with an attitude are most grateful!
if anyone can do it you can. have all the faith in the world in you DD. love you consistently!
Totally blessed 🙏❤️
That training session was amazing! A lot of dog to work with. The information you gave him was great! Can't wait to see how Squatch acts once he's had some more training. You are the #1 dog trainer!! Much love Augusto 💖
Good job, Agusto. You truly understand dogs and have an ability to teach the owners.
awesome…dog daddy was extremely helpful for this family and mostly for squatch ❣️
Another great lesson by DOG Daddy!!!!!!!!
Thank you for helping Squatch and his family. I believe you have saved his life!
You are so special. Thank you ❤❤❤❤
I have 2 brindled English mastiffs that are no joke...I call them the 4 F's. Four hundred pounds of Fur, Fangs and F*** off. They're AWESOME. DD managing ONE unruly mastiff is NO joke. Mad respect.
I have a 240lb brindle English mastiff and a Great Dane. My mastiff can be a dick 😂
Awesome job, Dog Daddy. This is why you're the best dog trainer in the world!!
Im sure Squatch is a much happier and less confused dog. ❤
Hoping for a part 2 of this.
This is such a great video.
I really feel the owners personal victory as he sees the change starting and the dog starting to take instructions and make that progress.
This was actually a really heart warming story
Can't wait, I hope you post lesson 2
Beautiful sensitivity in how you handled this dog and how you ensured that he was given the messages that he was doing good when he was able to follow commands. Wonderful to watch you help this family.
What a huge improvement in that first session!
The Dog daddy can trained any dog. God bless this man
Fantastic work Augusto!!! Man! - That big monster tried to bite even the owner! The metal chair you were carrying was a good & necessary idea!
But, as time went by, I could see monster mastiff was actually learning! Each pass he seemed to improve.
Let's hope the owner has plenty of practice before your next session.
Augusto you literally looked like a Lion tamer😂😂 but you did what you do best! 🫶
You have such a good heart helping people with truly understanding what training means
Just love ur heart and courage! Praying for Rolex and yourself!!! Thank you for being “THE EXAMPLE OF LOVE” over care of animals ❤ Gods continued blessings
Over 100 pound working dogs are no joke.
Excellent training session!
That's why we need you here on earth
Bravo to this owner. I made a comment about people buying dogs they shouldn't have but understanding he had a job for this dog puts it in perspective. And he's going above and beyond to get help.

LOVED that Dog Daddy trained the owner's more than the dog, lol😊
Trainers don't ever train dogs ,unless it is some boot camp for dogs but they do train the owner/handler on how to train the pet......
Daddy is now officially a 🦁 tamer!! 🤯😅 Just amazing! So proud of you Augusto! 😎❤❤❤🎯🏆🤗🤗🤗
Took the word out of my mouth, beautiful. Great freaking job
Yes!!! Show the owners how to handle, talk them through. Perfect!
I just love you. You put all the other trainers to shame. You really know the dogs and their behaviors. Cant wait for the 2nd video.
Great video! I am looking forward to the next session. Bravo to you and the owner!
Blessings to you & yours in everyway 🙏🏼
Memphis 🇺🇸 Tennessee
Thanks to the family for believing that Squatch could improve and a great job listening to DD instructions! DD is the greatest!
He's a gifted dog trainers only him can understand dogs no matter what breeds
Beautiful work! 🙏🏻🥰
Dog Daddy to the rescue! 🦸♂️🐕
Wow! He was even biting his owner! DD looked like a tasty snack, but a force to be reckoned with! 😎
Thank you for all you do for these people who have no hope.
I usually don’t like your training techniques, but so far this is very, very good
It's a good thing that DD has changed what he shows in his videos and shows more of the actual training as opposed to showing mostly the most difficult part BEFORE the actual training. Most people assume, wrongly, that the early part where the dog is fighting is part of the training. It is NOT. It is just his technique of getting dogs to where they will listen. The real training begins once the dog realizes, on its own, that nothing bad will happen. That what most critics don't get, or refuse to get.
The lives you have saved by sharing your knowledge is amazing! Keep on helping dogs and owners feel happy 🤗 it's great to watch.
And that's how its done to All you people/trainers who like to bad mouth the Best 🙌
Actions speak louder than words and Dog Daddy not only talks about it, he proves it by his Actions 😉👍Dog Daddy ROCK'S!!!🥰🤗💖🤗🥰
Such a wonderful sight to see. You are able to help the owners start the training right away. That’s fantastic. Love how you are able to make a difference for people who have a dog they really want to be able to have under control and be safe to be around.
positive only trainer backed out after 2nd session. makes sense.
You did such a great job with this dog. What I love the most is the love and concern for the dog and owners.❤
As a Tibetan nomadic background myself, they are our protectors from wild animals. They don’t harm people. We call them bhoe-kyi, which means Dog of Tibet. Anyway great to see A dog daddy training a beast finally.
You are correct. The variety of Tibetan mastiff you speak of is very different than the Drakyi lines of Tibetan Mastiff.
So which kind is this? The protect-from-wild-animals line or the Drakyi line? I'm guessing Drakyi since he wanted a piece of DD.
my shih tsu mix acts like this dog to people he doesnt know....come to find out shih tsu dogs were used as watch dogs in tibet. they would alert which would get the attention of the mastiff on duty or the owner or sometimes both.
Dogdaddy rescued a dog life again
ua-cam.com/users/shortsS26BkaPwg4g?si=pAu-OCKoixHe1o4d
I am so excited for the owners. Thank you Dog Daddy for the incredible work you do to help dog owners across the world.
I have a question. I have a female mastiff mix. She is an amazing dog. She is very strong. She is aggressively friendly, if that makes sense. She absolutely loves people and other dogs. She pulls so hard when she sees someone or another dog. I try to keep her close to me, but it doesn't always work. If she sees a person pull into our parking lot at home, she will not budge until that person gets out of the car and pets her. Most people love her. How do I keep her under control so she doesn't pull?
This was great to watch. Thank you DD for helping Squatch owners understand 😊
Dog Daddy is the BEST!! 😊
Beautiful Squatch! Need to build a good relationship with owner: trust, understanding, obedience. Squatch knows you love him, just need firm guidance. Thank you for giving him a great life!
Wow hes a Beast 😂❤
You are awesome. You really know how to treat these dog owners and how to train the dog owners.. You understand the dogs! Best dog daddy!
OMG! DOGDADDY DOES "IT" AGAIN!!!❤❤❤
That was fantastic to watch. I could feel the relief at the end when everyone got together before leaving. I’m glad they finally found some true help.
Great work again, Augusto. Looking forward to Lesson #2. ✨
I stay amazed with every video how you understand each dog and owner ❤ you are truly a gift from God. Stay blessed 🙏🏻
I’m so happy for him ❤
Been watching many dog trainers but Dog Daddy is on point!
Excellent!
❤❤ omgosh Agusto....you are amazing I'll always put my money on you!! Thank you for helping this dog n family...Again.....YOUR THE BEST BABY ❤❤❤❤❤
Just wow!
