The T3 Returns! | 563 in service on the Swanage Railway | 08.10.2023

LSWR Adams T3 No. 563 is running once more on the Swanage Railway, after being out of use for nearly 75 years.
Built in 1893 under the design of William Adams, 563 is a 4-4-0 loco originally built for the London and South Western Railway (LSWR). It was withdrawn in August 1945, at the end of WW2, and had already completed 1.5 million miles. The restoration of the 130 year old loco started back in 2017 and has cost over £650,000. Though, it is finally back running with passengers today (08/10/2023).
