Why does it only slow down when hits plimico and and sped up once it’s left
Sweet!
That sound ,, old school
Is that 'all over beige' a new colour scheme Ive not seen before........................? GOOD OLD GROWLERS!👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏
Lovely western!
Thanks for watching!
Why does it keep revving erratically like that?
I think the driver might just be having fun
I would rather have the class 91s and mk4 stock and hsts back on the Ecml rather than these on the ecml at least the mk4 stock and hsts are more comfortable to ride in better seats
100% agree, but these aren’t as bad as people make them out to be
Damn nice catch!
Who's the jack rabbit in red. My fav was the tandem axle jeep.

Haha 😂
Absolutely fantastic the noise that makes really put a smile on my face thank you
Thanks for watching!
@@dbit22 there’s just this distinctive sound about Deltic locomotives
is this a NO SMOKING area
😂
You guys are lucky! You have more of our equipment there than we have here, absolutely love all the half tracks!!!!! Go Merica!!!!!!🇺🇸
In diesel mode the motor traction sound can still be heard
That's because the Diesel engines are linked with the traction motors instead of being separate so when on diesel mode, power is generated from the engines that then powers the electric traction motors
🔥
Herston Halt?
Yep
I subed to this legend
Thank you 🙏
Great catch
Thanks for watching
As a much younger person than I am now, I was serenaded at night by that sound as they moved through Derby.
The blonde lady on the platform became an instant fan once she heard the engine rev up. She looked back every time.
No mate she was looking at the pissheads on the platform near her and her friend.
My Lord that's a metric Sh!t ton of WWII hardware. I doubt the States have that many period vehicles operational. 👍👍
What a wonderful testimony to the quality of American equipment.
Someone has done a great job of weathering it
What a complete bell end he was, how to fry the tm's. If that was a hnrc 37 he'd have been sacked asap
what a monster.. that driver has the best job in the world and he knows it.
Amazing class 37
Glad you liked it
Man that beast is weathered perfectly :-) Great vid thanks!
CHUGGA CHUGGA
i saw 42142 at edinburgh waverley
Nice!
That blonde was certainly impressed by his performance & he sounded like he got a cheer from a group of lads lol👌😂
Miss the 31's & 20's as well - Silencer exemption zones.
That’s not noise it’s ………music
Just missing the bit where it leaves the roof and the driver goes full Tonto with the throttle.
The blond bird is actually eyeing the driver! Wow.
Nice to see a 37 clearing a nasty throute getting rid of all that dust so cool and a great sound of a 37 under load on her motors fantastic it dose wat she dose nice to see the grand old girls still working and not looking that out of places decades on sweet vid whoever shot it thanks
Thank you
I tell you, the lines were once filled with 'em. A joyous visual, sonic and sensual spectacle. Lovely capture, DBIT.
Thank you!
Very nice 😊
Thanks
The vehicle at 1:58 is a Loyd Gun Carrier
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it
Still a good train 'seat's are amongst the best 'would take it to Exeter St David's 'rather than GWR
I miss the old South West Trains livery's they looked so much better
Definitely, this grey looks very bland and unpleasant
The Class 317s will be missed and my most favorite 2 Class 317 Livery’s were the Stansted Express Light Blue and the Blue, Light Blue Lime Blue, Yellow and Pink One Railway.
He didn’t look very happy
Perhaps I'm just a gear head (I am), but there's something not quite right about seeing a Turbostar moving without the accompanying "BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR"
Indeed
Amazed to see so much kit lovingly restored , outstanding.
Great to see so many Halftracks still running. What a brilliant turn out.
Nothing like blasting your engine in a tunnel (or equivalent) whether it’s a car or a tractor it’s glorious and this 37 is Victorious.
Love it.
Cheers
