Amazing steam scenes at Swanage engine shed - so busy with a rich variety of powerful Southern steam power and a Brittania Pacific - No 7000! Somewhat different from 60 and more years ago when I used to ride to school, at Swanage, in a 2-coach Maunsell push-pull set (Plus an extra carriage as required) with a venerable Class M7 loco providing the motive power. Thanks so much for filming and sharing these fantastic scenes at Swanage! Absolutely brilliant!
Thanks for sharing. I was there on the very windy Friday, first time I've ever seen Britannia, my favourite engine, and was fortunate enough to be invited into the cab, truly an honour and a privilege for me! An unforgettable day, many memories brought back with this superb video. Nice steady hand, BTW.
Had a great time with our Grandson on the Saturday. I think we did every train we could in the time! To ride up the branch to the river was a real thrill. I haven't done that since about 1965. Massive thanks to all who made it happen.

Excellent video. Some great shots of Southern steam. Brings back boyhood memories. Thanks

Fabulous stuff!
largely unseen to the general public, maintaining and running the steam heritage fleet takes a lot of volunteer work
Awesome video!
Fabulous video!
Manston's livery's looking a bit tired
I believe it's intended to look that way, give it a weathered look like it might have had, opposed to pristine for a change
