I bought 112 eggs from person in California an I’m Ohio and got 60% hatch rate very good for eggs shipped 3000 miles
I think 50% is the minimum hatch rate you'd want. I start the year w/fertile eggs from Myshire & always have a good hatch rate. I do find hatch rates from my own fertile eggs are always the best though & I think that's cause they aren't shipped.

Hello! It's called a Bitfitter. Size B is for quail. I bought it through Strombergs. I'm able to house males together this way & I don't have to rush to process since they can't kill each other!

I'm in MD. I only have males available for sale now. I do however sell off my working girls after Halloween. I keep only a skeleton crew over winter.

Bits in the quails noses. Like how a horse has a bit...that's how I house males together while grown out so they can't kill each other. ❤ Crystal
