    "look to your left look to your right" your professor sounds like doctor Webber in that first episode of Greys Anatomy haha

      The funny thing is, I just started rewatching Grey's Anatomy and Dr. Weber says that exactly. Maybe my nursing school instructor got inspiration from Grey's. Sadly, I've talked to a lot of students from my Instagram page and I guess this is common practice. They're trying to scare students and "weed them out".

    I felt the same way about psych that you felt about OB/peds! I’m in OB right now with WGU and absolutely loooove this class!! Psych on the other hand...I was ready to be out of😂

    can you make a video with tips on how to study health assessment and how you survived it, pleaseee

      I sure can! I'll add it to my list. But I would recommend getting the Health Assessment book yourself and take detailed notes yourself. Start your questions early. I would say health assessment is one of the most important classes in nursing school.

    I started nursing school in January and was online from the beginning unfortunately haha do you have any advice on how to make friends when you’re stuck in the virtual world of nursing? I just feel like it’s so hard because I never see classmates in person!

    My biggest advice to anyone that is in nursing school online or taking pre-reqs on line-REWATCH THE LECTURE...if available. I made it through microbiology without taking a single note during class, not even exaggerating. Of course, nursing school is more demanding but take it for what it is.

    You should go to school wearing a full face of makeup!! An intense colored eye shadow haha. actually... they may not like that

      Hahah! I would say when I first started nursing school in 2017, I totally did. But now I don't. Minimal at best. But makeup is therapy and helps ease my anxiety sometimes, so I've been known to sit down and do some makeup before a big test to try and relax haha.

    Hey, how is the Chamberlain nursing program different from a state university or college?

    • @emmamamanurse
      @emmamamanurse  3 роки тому

      Chamberlain is considered accelerated because you will obtain your BSN in 3 years without transferring prerequisites. They go through the summer, and classes are 8 weeks long. So you're basically going to school until you're done with the program and you get your degree.
