UA-cam makes it seem easy and quick. Don't be put off by taking time to restore it. Replacing one part a week, or even one a month, is still progress. Fixing a car yourself is rewarding. Keep going!
Thanks for your support! At this stage I'm just trying to get used to being on camera. Nothing crazy or wild coming up, just getting this one back to being a safe, useable vehicle.
I appreciate you for noticing! This is the second ever video I made/edited for youtube. I only started using DaVinci Resolve for this purpose. I will not admit to how long it took me to blend the transition together! 😂
Downloaded all 8 episodes, just finished this one. Thank you for the detailed descriptions of the steps you take. Bravo. Please share a link for the Android Head Unit, it looks great.
I bought this unit on eBay, and this model has been discontinued. There are updated versions with newer firmware and more RAM. They are more expensive, but they are still built to suit the non-square opening in the fascia. tinyurl.com/msumrk86 (be aware, this link will only work for as long as the listing is active) Check out xtrons.com.au/ or xtrons.com/ for more android head units (not a sponsor)
Good job, I appreciate you showing all the little steps to detach all the trim pieces 👍🏻 that’s very helpful !
Still not sure if I should speed things up to keep people engaged, or break things down into smaller steps like this. Glad it was helpful though!
What a well-made series videos and boosts my motivation to keep re-storing my old '05 C230 Kompressor. Thanks for making these!

Loving the work on this project, keep it up!

Respect to the audio cut-in at the end! Super sick detail haha!

Great content, nicely paced video, really enjoy the how to aspects.
Thank you! I'm still learning about how to get pacing right, and what to include (and what to cut out)
