To stop cooking in one drawer when both drawers are on hold down the left or right button which ever drawer you want to stop hold down that button for 3 seconds and it will turn that drawer off while the other drawer still carries on cooking
Amazing, I’d tried that and hadn’t held it long enough! Thanks for the comment
No worries it took me a while to find out 😂
Each side has a 1750w heating element. If you use both sides then it alternates between sides (one side on and one side off). On short bakes this can result in the right side needing slightly more than the left side.
If you are using both sides and you want to stop one before it's end time you just need to press and hold the R button for the right side or the L button for the left side.
Ive got the new cosori i love that i can watch my cakes rise and see how things are cooking without having to open the drawer and let the heat out all the time im liking the shake and perheat buttons and that you can turn them off all on also you can change to Celsius or Fahrenheit with a press of a button.
Really pleased you like it! I cooked a loaf cake in it this afternoon, couldn’t see anything through the window except the tin! 😆😆 Still love it though!
very detailed and insightful! I am about to be a first time buyer of an air fryer and your video is detailed as it can get. Thank you very much for this video!!
Thanks for the comment!
I honestly think I like the Cosori Dual Drawer because u can see how well the food is being done even if it takes extra long. T.T
I have a Philips air fryer, it's the best by far, has none of the cons you listed in all 7 fryers. It wasn't cheap but it is quality, have had it several years, works perfect. Cheers
Model?
@@rainerrain9689 Philips XXL
@@rainerrain9689these fryers are known to have smoking issues. I have the xxl and spent a fortune on it. Can't use it with meat as it sets my smoke alarm off all the time
@@lizzybnw8266 Thank YOU !
@@lizzybnw8266why does it set the smoke alarm off
Cleaning the glass is a chore. You have to remove the screws at the front of the drawer then dismantle it all to get at the glass 🤨🤨🤨🤨
why do you need to take the glass apart? the inside of the basket gets dirty which is easy to hand wash/wipe.
I agree, I wouldn't dismantle it
Great review, looking to purchase the Corsori as my first Air Fryer 👍
Really pleased to have helped!
Thank you Clara. I initially went with the Ninja Foodi Max and changed to this Cosori. It looks sleeker and I think the chassis has better build quality. I wish this model has the WiFi smart feature and glass touch panel due to the plastic scratching. I’m willing to upgrade if another model comes out with those two.
What air fryer are you using as your main at the moment?
Still this one (the Cosori dual basket) and I haven't been bothered by scratches either 🤷 Mind you, maybe I need to put my glasses on! 😆
Great video… excellent reviews… very helpful with making my decision
Really pleased to hear that, thank you!
Are there any other major differences to this and the ninja? The biggest negative with the Cosori for me would be how clean it looks, the windows in the draws + the touch screen. However if it's much better outside of these I'd maybe still go for it
Honestly, they are both great air fryers, it’s a bit of a Pepsi/Coke thing, pick whichever you like!
Excellent review. Thanks
Thanks for the comment!
Good morning,
I'm hesitating between this Cosori model and the Duronic AF34. Have you had the opportunity to test the Duronic? According to their characteristics which one seems better to you
Hello, I’m afraid I haven’t, but I’m intrigued so I will investigate!
I have ninja dual zone with probe and the only thing I like is probe. I hate how if I cook a chicken in it the whole house smells but in my cosori it doesn’t . I think I can live without the probe
Interesting observation, I appreciate the comment
I got one thanks to you like it so far .. answer to question hold L or R to cancel sacked the mingy ninji off as the top silver strip looked cheap on it. Is there a child lock on it stop accidentally turning it off?
Thanks for the reply, yes it turns out I wasn’t holding the L/R button quite long enough, glad I solved that! No child lock, we have a touchscreen on the washing machine and I feel your pain with the accidental switch offs!
Help me! I dare NOT buy it because many people complain in Amazon reviews that the fries don't cook properly, you can only grill on the left side, it has low power, it heats both baskets at the same time and other strange entries. What are your experiences? Thanks🙂
The only one of these I can confirm is that it will only grill in one drawer, but the rest of it does not ring true. I use it daily and the Ninja dual basket is now in the loft because I prefer the Cosori 🤷♀️ That’s always the trouble with reviews, a load of people love something and another load of people hate it!
@@CandidClara Dear Clara,
Thank you for your quick reply!. Just one more question, I am hesitating between dual blaze and dual basket. In terms of the end result, is the dual blaze better than, say, a baked potato, french fries or a few slices of meat? I only need it for 1-2 people midweek. Although it could be that model switching comes with dual blaze:-)? Although the website doesn't even have dual basket, I don't understand...
@@joewolf38 I'm so sorry I missed this! Funnily enough I'm about to do a review of the dual blaze, but I suspect you have already made your choice, what did you go for?
@@CandidClaraI am waiting for a reply, I have not ordered yet. I am a bit hesitant, the kids think I am:-)
Have you tried the Instant Vortex VersaZone?
Not yet, but I’ve added it to the list!
I am interested in the ninja AF451. However, it doesn't give the temperature range. Do you know what the temperature range is?
I have replied to your other comment, but for the benefit of anyone who sees this one, all the No ha air fryers I have tried have had a range of 40-240c and so I would assume the AF451 would be the same.
Im going for the ninja. But its mostly because of the offering for replacement parts. Cosori dont really offered replacement baskets for their machines and the baskets tend to lose its coating.
Yup, that’s very fair
I’m contemplating buying a dual zone I currently have a ninja speedi but can’t open it under my cabinets so have to put it on the cooker top to use, which can be inconvenient. My main consideration is size, the ninja dual 9.5L though taller looks more compact and takes less space than the cosori, is that right?
They are virtually identical in size, there’s nothing in it
..and then came the TwinFry..
Not in the UK yet sadly…
Hi Clara
It's Gord from Canada I love your review of the Cosori dual baskets, it's great. I ordered one from Amazon Canada yesterday and will get it about 01 May. I have a question about rectangular parchment paper for this machine, there is nothing here that I can find that says what will fit the Cosori. Do you know of anything that will fit ? Anything from Ninja? Thanks very much
Anything made for the Ninja dual zone will fit as the drawers are smaller and I generally find they make only one size that fits both dual zone and dual zone max anyway
Are the baskets bigger in the cosori Vs the 400 ninja?
The Cosori’s capacity is halfway between the AF300uk (Foodi) and the AF400uk (Foodi Max) so the baskets are bigger than one and smaller than the other
I'm so confused lol.. on reviews I have seen the af400s basket is smaller than the cosori.. I mean in dimensions in width and length rather than depth for increasing liters .. sorry if this is specific but I loved the size of the flex draw zones but was horrible to clean so looking for single draws the same kind of size...
Ninja AF400 is 21.5 x 16.5 x 13.5cm
Cosori is 21.5 x 17.5 x 11.5cm
All very quick measurements from my air fryers I have here. Hope that helps!
So kind of you to do that thank you . Will definitely keep the ninja then .. il have both with me tomorrow and will return the one I don't want . I just wish they made optional separate draws for the flex!!! How amazing would that be
so many people are asking for that I'm sure if Ninja can make it it will only be a matter of time! Also brands like Duronic already have one with interchangeable drawers (and it's on my list to review!)
What air fryer do you recommend for a single person I’m most interested in the dual fryer
My instant thought was the Turbo Blaze, but that is single drawer, but if you want a dual drawer I don’t think you can go wrong with the Ninja Foodi AF300
I was looking at the turbo blaze only looked at dual to cook meals for one the realised I can do it in the turbo blaze and prefer the bigger basket so bought the turbo blaze last night
Hi, I have the same cosori air fryer, but can you tell me what the function (dry) is for it doesn't mention this in the booklet , and I haven't seen anyone doing videos mention it either? Do you know what it's for
Thank you
I do mention this in the video, it is supposed to be for dehydrating, but actually it’s just a cool cook with a slow fan so it’s also good for slow cooking meat
@@CandidClara thank you
Your IKEA KALLAX needs spinning around 180 degrees. The bracket holes are getting to me
I’ve been laughing about this all day. You watched the video and this was your criticism? 😆 I shall take that as a compliment!
I have the ninja AF300 is it worth buying the Cosori Dual Basket please advise thank you
Why are you not happy with the Ninja?
Thank you I’m going to stick with my Ninja as I love it
@@colleenscott2742impulsive 😅
You didn't say if it was a dual blaze?
It’s not
Cosori vs tower??
I’ve only tested one Tower versus 4 Cosori so perhaps not a balanced reply, but I prefer the build quality of Cosori
@@CandidClara I have a tower which is about 5 years old now. I'm leaning more towards Cosori. I should be able to do a full chicken in the dual fryer right?
Thank you Clara. With a vegetarian partner, the dual draw feature is essential. Air fryers take up quite a chunk of space in a kitchen so this might be our next purchase to replace the oven. Now how can I get a pizza into one? Time for a ' Challenge Clara ' video ! Great stuff as always - Paul 😃😃😎😎
Hi Clara, thank you for the review. How is the build quality compared to the ninja? Which one is easier to clean?
They are very very close in both counts, but if pushed I would say the Cosori is better build quality which is controversial, but anecdotally I have seen more issues reported with Ninja than Cosori
when you compare the dimensions of the Ninja AF400k against the Cosori Dual 8.5 l, it states the Cosori is a lot deeper than the Ninja at 39.1cm against 27 cm for the Ninja is this correct? Really want the Cosori but looking at the dimensions I can find it is a lot bigger than the Ninja. Ninja H32.5 W 41.5 D27 cm Cosori H30.3 W44 D39.1 cm. I saw a video of yours that stated the Cosori was only 42 cm wide. Could you please confirm
Just did a quick measure for you. The Cosori is 39cm deep including the handles and 42cm wide. The Ninja AF400 is 37cm deep (inc handles) and the same width across. I think the measurements you are looking at must be from different points. I always include the vent fenders at the back and the handles because that is how much room you will actually need on the worktop, the 27cm is excluding the handles I believe! Let me know if I can help with anything else as I have both here
Not sure where the 44cm width for the Cosori comes from, I measured across the widest part of the lid, I guess arguably the it is slightly wider towards the base, but not actually at the bottom!
Chose the Cosori over the Ninja as I own several other Corori products, and very very pleased with them. This air fryer is excellent! I live in the US and our version does not include the baking racks. Your review is great thank you for posting.
Thanks for the comment!
put the plate sideways in the basket(cosori)
Why? 🤔
It tells you in the manual to do that on the cosori dual blaze and I do it with my new cosori dual zone I make sure I put the crisper tray under the window screws first then push down so it don't scratch and push on the screws
Great video. Thank you. I have a question about grilling. There are many air fryers with grill option (including dual basket Cosori) but I haven't seen any examples of the grill being actually used. I like to do steaks in the air fryer as I hate greasy kitchen after frying them in the pan. I have Cosori 4.7l and it does a decent job on steak function (230C) but the steaks are lacking nice browny bits on the edges and the marks from the grilling pan. How is this particular Cosori faring in grilling?
Good question, I have used the grill on the Tefal air fryer as that has a cast iron plate that delivers the grill marks and same with the Pro Cook health grill, but my personal opinion (and it’s really very personal!) is that I like to buy a decent quality steak and I think it’s wasted cooking it in an air fryer like the Cosori… many people will disagree though and that’s fine! x
@@CandidClara Many thanks for the reply. I also buy good quality steaks but my husband and I like them medium/well done and AF is good for that - just missing the grill marks. Do you think it may be worth investing of one of Ninja's Health Grill / Air fryer? I am a bit reluctant to do that as this would be another large appliance on the countertop. x
No, I wouldn’t, wait till you find something that can do everything for you. They do exist, so take your time.
So I have been in search of this answer, does this air fryer have wifi?
It this model, no
bought it based on this video. It is great however, I forgot to think about what I actually want to cook. None of my pans fit except a small round cake tin. I wish now I have bought just the Cosori 5.5 like I bought my Mum as she is able to use her pans and cook quiche etc with no issues or the large one draw Cosori so I am now regretting it and thinking of buying a 5.5 too
I personally don’t like the 5.5l because you always have to have the crisper basket in the drawer, regarding quiches, I recently bought a couple of these and they are excellent. The 15cm fits in the drawer and is perfect for two people amzn.to/3Z5TI7e
@@CandidClara Thanks for the link for the quiche dishes. I think I just need to think outside the box and adapt. That is a really good point about the crisper basket in the 5.5. I hadn't thought of that aspect. Appreciate your response and your videos :)
No problem at all, I hope you find a way to make it work for you!
Is it correct that the Cosori takes significantly longer due to its lower power compared to the Ninja? Thanks a lot 😊
No, nonsense…
Does the Cosori have any smart features that lets you control the Air fryer? thanks
From an app? No, not this model
Another wonderful product review. Love my Ninja but this is an alternative if i need to change, possibly. Love your videos full of honest results. Thank you Clara. ❤
Thank you for taking the time to leave such a kind comment, it’s really made my afternoon x
Hi Clara, brand new owner here, haven’t used it yet only arrived last night! I’ve got the Ninja Dual zone 9 litre but it is almost identical to that Cosori, it is sleek black and has the windows. (I had no idea what I was buying to be honest, hadn’t realised there were so many different Ninja models!) I purchased from Amazon and they were very swift! However, there is no recipe booklet just a pamphlet really, 8 single pages with care, maintenance and basic usage instructions. Certainly/y not the booklet most Ninjas I’ve seen come with. Also there is no sign of a guarantee card. If I go to Ninja online do you think they would help out? New subscriber, your videos are excellent!
Sorry for the late reply, but absolutely yes, contact Ninja, I actually dealt with their customer service this week and they are great
Also it’s possible the paperwork was hidden in the packaging. My unboxing video might be helpful ua-cam.com/video/dXjtvoDk3fg/v-deo.htmlsi=e0rbzIVDciWCNP5e
Hello good review but is it PFOA-free?
Yes all non-stick surfaces are PFOA free
Are these toxic chemical free
Yes
Hi Clara, I am trying to decide on whether to buy the Cosori Dual Zone 8.5l or the Ninja Dual Zone 9.5L air fryer - I've seen your reviews on each. It all comes down to which is best to cook chickens of about 1.8kg. I've never owned an air fryer before, so any guidance would be really helpful. Keep up the great videos! Thanks, Max
I don’t think you will go wrong with either, so just get whatever is selling first the best price!
Cosori must definitely
To be honest they are all pretty much the same, a small fan oven and that is about it, all made in china. I bought a Tower 9 litre twin drawer but I'm not a name snob.
And yet you’re still here watching this 🤷♀️😆
@@CandidClara What's that got to do with the price of bacon.
@CandidClara I frequent many websites even if I don't plan on owning or following what these websites offer, for example, I do not and never will own a freeze dryer due to their exhorting costs, yet I often watch homesteading channels who use them. Same with livestock and cattle care lol.
I AM in the market for a large air fryer and have been looking at reviews. I'm leaning towards the Ninja .
