    I know I’m like a year late... Just ran into your channel & I gotta say great fab work. I’m a mechanic by trade and also the exhaust guy at work. Well I copied your brackets for the air bag set up I “re-installed” for one of our customers who’s after brackets kept warping on him. He hasn’t had a problem ever since with his air bag set up. I also copied your air tank with that square tubing. Fitted flush along side the frame rail out of sight. Great video just subbed👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

    At 16:20 in the video, If the mud flap support arm had a oval shaped male plug welded on the mounting end, there would be less chance of the arm twisting due to it being held on by one bolt.

    Love the fact this guy does good work. I appreciate the fact that when I think to myself, he should paint that. Or gusset that, he does it a minute later.
    Question: How do you know what your collapsed and extended length for your airbags should be at?
    Like does making your top plate 1/4", 3/8"s etc make a difference in your suspension travel? Unlikely this matters when the leaf springs have minimal travel right?

    • @Cumminslife
      @Cumminslife  6 років тому +1

      I just measure the bag empty and also full completely extended. then I know how big to build brackets. these airbags had about 6" of travel.

    Nice job on the flat bed...except IMO any flatbed that is made the same width as the cab looks dorky. I'd of angled-out the sides wider a bit to give it a more beefy look plus give it more cargo room. But that's just me. Otherwise great job.

    Love your vids man. I see some Putco stuff on this truck and I wanted to warn you of their products. I used to be in R&D for them and their quality is atrocious despite their price tag/claims. Any of their lights, chrome, rails, etc...will either break/degrade fast or arrive already broken. I'd pull stuff from the warehouse for our SEMA trucks and stuff would be dead in the box. If you know anybody thinking of purchasing fender trim, etc from them, tell them to save their money. Keep up the good work and the sick builds!
