I am heading out on a 4 day, backcountry fishing trip and I wanted to share my backpacking gear list with you fine folks. This is my general backpacking gear load out for this summer. Minor adjustments will be made to this backpacking gear list depending where I'm going, what I'm doing and how long I'm going for. those sock/shoes look intersting. are they grippy on wet rocks? would have liked to seen what tackle you brought :)
Oh man those things are great! They are fantastic for around camp, swimming and fishing on the shoreline. Yeah they're pretty grippy on wet rocks. Also stop ya from getting a sunburn on your feet haha Dowside is that at 8 oz they're kinda heavy but for most weekend warrior trips, they're great! I'll be making a video at the beginning of this coming backing season about my favorite tackle and my favorite rod n reel to bring backpacking. Thanks for watching!

@@CascadeBackcountry How is it in the summer time with just a T-shirt on? Uncomfortable without multiple layers?
My only complaint would be that if it's hot out, you'll get sweaty under it. But it's hot out... everything is sweaty haha

@@CascadeBackcountry Im just looking thru some old videoes and helping your channel's algorithm. Im also looking to replace some old gear, so it will be cool to see what you have found that works. Im specifically looking for a good affordable tent that can take on our Washington winter weather. My 30+ year old tent is tired and leaked the last time i used it. I really like that chair you have in the video, mine is nice, but way to bulky and heavy.
