Glad to see you back! This video should help. I have seen instruction by Trillium Rose with the hip shift. I am using with Driver and hitting more fairways!
Michele, no one comes close to you as an instructor. Thanks for your generosity. walk in beauty. I would like you to give a lesson on a complete pre-shot and pre-putt routine.
You have to keep some weight on your rear foot. Look how long Rory keeps his trail foot down. This allows you to release the club easier because it creates another axis. Think of a catapult- there is a counter weight. Every force has a reaction etc. If you get to your lead side way too early, you will come over the top and/or will not be able to release the club or you will chunk it.
This teaching video is just what I need to try and improve my weight shift. I think the drills you suggest/demonstrate will be very useful. Thanks for another great lesson Michele!
Hi Michelle, I received a message asking me to contact you through Telegram. I also received a similar message saying it was from Rick Sheils. It was a scam! Rick contacted me and said no it was not him! Seems your channel is also being compromised by the same hack!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Michele, Thank you for this video. I cannot believe the progress I have made in only two range sessions. I'll see tomorrow if I can carry it over to my game. A very small 1 - 2 inch divot compared to my normal sweeping. My question is how do the numbers and positions changed based on the driver? Maybe this is a separate video. Thanks
Fantastic video, very explanatory! A question beside the subject: with an iron you point the club well to the left of the target and with the driver well to the right. Shouldn't you strive to point all clubs at the target?
Michele, brilliant as usual. You asked for suggestions, here’s one. When I watch chipping tips on UA-cam, the instructor always has the ball on a perfect lie (not realistic) and makes it look easy. However, when we go out and practice our chipping & pitch shots around the green the ball seems to “settle down” with grass around the ball making our chips less predictable or repeatable. Any suggestions? Thank you.
Very informative. As golf season starts winding down, putting is where I would like to work on in off season. Would love to see a video on home putting drills as that was my achilles heel this year. Need something to work on during cold winter months.
Following a period during which I felt increasingly better about my swing, I have just had an awful day on the course. Topping woods, fat shots with irons, poor contact with driver. Fortunately I found your video this evening and I’m pretty sure that what you cover is what I need to put right. Back to the range tomorrow to get some practice in! Thanks for the clear way you explain the fundamentals 😊
First of all, best wishes for your child!! For me it's extremely difficult to understand the weight on the single foot, So I can't quite understand how to carry out the weight shift. Thanks for the lesson
Good to Have you back Michele and congratulations with your new baby boy,....enjoyed this one because weight shift has always caused me problems in the past , uncomplicated /uncluttered explanations in all your videos very easy to follow (I think some pros over explain) ..oh and stick at it you'll get ya swing back in no time 😁👍
The simplest way to teach a golfer how to shift weight during the swing is to have them throw golf balls down even with their front foot or slightly in front of it. Nearly everyone does it ideally the first time due to previous experience throwing things that way. What seems to confuse their brain of beginners in a golf swing is the unfamiliar force vectors of the moving club head which causes the brain to react reflexively to that unbalancing force - resulting it getting weight stuck on back foot and reverse pivot - instead of moving the body as in the ball toss to accelerate the body, arm and club head mass towards the target.
So many of us get lost thinking about the hands and arms. The feet up through the abs are much more important. Then simply let the hands follow and whip them through the ball with very little manipulation. Your looking good mommy. Great to see you back.
merci beaucoup, très précis comme explication.
Brilliant Michele, thanks again for a superbly informative video; been working at this for about a week so you’re timing is spot on 😀
Congratulations your baby. Great news you are back thanks a LOT!

The whole 'get to your left side asap' is the most dangerous tip on golf.
Great drills! Will practice them tomorrow.. thanks 👏
Amazing explanation Michelle 👏

Hi Michele, would leading knee goes lateral out and turns back help for weight shift? Thanks
Great video Michele. Iron weight shift works well, but driver weight shift is so difficult bc I tend to hit up on the ball too much. Any advice?

michele I received an email and response to a comment. it was to contact you via an addy that started with tele....
is this you or are you hacked?
Very informative video. I find that it is only by trying to understand the different aspects of the swing that I can improve. This certainly 👌 helps.
Great info on the swing and what to feel

Perfect timing for this lesson. Thank you Michele! I sorely need it.
Thanks. Started tap drill. Hitting much better. Any drill for avoiding toped shots?
