I play a Windows-based game called 'Hell Let Loose' on Linux Mint, Prodramp, the problem that myself and others are having, using Nvidia graphics cards, is that the game crashes to desktop after 5 minutes of gamplay. There's no error message. Do you have any idea why this may be happening?
I was wondering if you know how to fix this problem: I have an ASUS TUF A15 2021 Gaming Laptop and I tried in DEMO MODE Ubuntu 22.04 and 22.10 but I have a problem. *The problem: USB C to DISPLAYPORT to an WQHD @ 165 Hz Monitor just shows a BLACK SCREEN yet Ubuntu detects my gpu and monitor. The Laptop Screen and HDMI Port to another external monitor 4k@60Hz works. I didn't proceed to install Ubuntu since I need to use my 165Hz monitor. This is an Hybrid Laptop... so the HDMI port and Laptop Screen use the AMD Vega gpu but the USB C TO DISPLAYPORT use Nividia RTX 3060 Laptop Gpu. I even tried Pop!OS and various other linux distros (linux mint, fedora, ZorinOS, pop!os)--the same problem for all of them. This 165Hz Monitor works perfectly fine with Windows 11; so the hardware works. I really wanted to use Ubuntu since it seems widely supported. Thank you if anyone can help.... btw I am new to Linux so I know basics if that.
Thanks for the comment. It seems your environment is unique to your need. Black screen means the driver is not loaded correctly in most of the times. I have very less experience with AMD GPU so can not tell you a lot, however I can give some suggestion. For Nvidia GPU there is an application which is installed after the display driver is installed, which can help me to setup up monitor refresh rate upto a supported rate. So if you can fine a similar application for AMD GPU and then config your drive to send 60 mhz first to make the UI work. You can do this by editing the monitor.conf or whatever your drive_name_is.conf when ur machine is running at command prompt. This might help you to setup drive properly to match the monitor refresh rate. Hope this helps.
I tried to search down drivers, i dont have an option ....My driver is a g200er2, matrox electronics systems, its and poweredge T320 server computer. I recently put Ubuntu on it. What do i do?
In my additional drivers i tried to select my nvvdia drivers but the select was not working i unistall the nvidia drivers and installed it using terminal and i was able to select . All this things i did for webcam but my webcam is still not working.
Thank you! You have gained a new subscriber from Brazil! Amazing tutorial

My touchpad cease to work anytime I install the drivers. What could be the possible issues related to this?

I am sorry but I am not sure what could be the issue just reading the problem.
Thanks for your comment, appreciate it.
Ubuntu settings -> about says I’m using intel mesa gpu while software & updates says nvidia gpu
You have two cards and currently using the Intel one.
