SWEET WOW. The first and only slot car track this Old Man had was 70 years ago. I can see know why many enjoy the Hobby. Wes and Ms Lori great video. Love watching. 🚗😎💝💝
I remember going to Bass Pro Shops around Christmas and they had a Carerra NASCAR slot car setup with a pit road and lane changers for customers to play with. my brother and I didn't get a slot car set of our own until a couple of years later which was a basic Artin without any lane changing. Since then I wondered how that set at Bass Pro worked where you could change lanes and each car ran at a different speed until I found this video.
OMG! this is the first time some one explain all to me, and i fell this slot cars are wonderful, thanks for bringing lights into this all new world for me, i was wondering what was the difference between the digital, analog and all different systems. I have boys and this is what i think they (we all) need jejej thanks for the guidence.
Just found this video, Very very cool, the pit lane and fuel just adds another step of realism to it. Thanks for the videos. Can you please tell me what that White car is? with the number 26.. thats my number by the way lol.
Great Video thanks. A Question, has anyone suggestions on how to avoid the cars to stop when trying to change lane? sometimes it happens on my new set that when traying to change lane the cars stops and apparently does not get power ... what can I check and/or do?
thanks for this ... i see its pretty intuitive .. no need to be worried that there is no propper display or something... its kinda like programming a microwave oven or something hehe ^^
I used to run my cars with the brakes at about 5 (depending on the car) so I could fully lift the throttle and coast around the turns while still carrying some decent speed. I now run them at max -- essentially charge as far into a turn as possible, hard on the binders, then throttle back up after I'm into the turn. This is out of necessity as some of the guys in my club don't have a lot of throttle and braking discipline and if I start slowing down early guaranteed somebody will run me off the track from behind.
Got to love the ram drivers lol. We run penalties on our track for crashing other drivers. It helps but with 6 cars in two lanes unfortunately crashes are going to happen. We also removed the back magnet from all cars this slows everyone way down and makes crashing much less destructive
What if I want to add for example 5 cars, does the carrera digital 132 support up to 5 or 6 controllers at the same time? do i have to buy additional controllers?(if yes)do i have to expand or buy extra ports to connect those controllers?
Hi bro, just subscibed. I have a 1/32 scale train layout and I am incorporating this system into it, in more of a highway/street scene than an actual race track. In testing, I noticed that when I ran a ghost car it went around the oval a few times and then stopped. Car headlights stayed on, but it stopped. If I went over and picked it up off the track and then set it down again it would start running again. Any idea what that is all about? Thanks in advance.
Any ideal why my ghost cars keep stopping after a few laps? 3 different cars will get 5-7 laps and then stop. The car lights are still on and if I shut off/on they will go again. Same if I lift the car up and put in back down in the same spot. Same if I use pace mode. I check the ends of the track and they creep around np and I'm only using a small oval track with one straight to trouble shoot.
With the previous model (30129), without this evolution, I can program the controls. that is, I have the same entrance to control the two cars. Thanks.
Have you ever had any problems trying to code the track or cars? I just got a set and it would never acknowledge the controller inputs to code a car, and now it won’t go into code, speed, brakes or fuel modes. Is there a way to reset the track computer or a good resource to troubleshoot this??
WOW, I'm shocked just how far the humble slot car has come. Question, if you have a "full fuel tank" does the handling change as the fuel is used like a real car does

If you really want the cars from the triple pack it’s still a good buy. But if I could do it all over I’d pick the one I linked above. Also the two 1/24 cars are $70 each
