- In this video, Dave will show you how to program a ghost car to run on your digital 1:32 or 1:24 track. Great for display, additional cars on the track or mastering your skills against competition on auto pilot.
• First, you'll want to make sure no cars are on the track or they'll get programmed as well
• Now make sure your control unit is switched to the on position
• Next place the car you want to program on to the track now press the code button twice
• Next press the lane change button on your speed controller LED lights three through five will light successively indicating programming is in progress once successful the middle LED will light up
• You can now set the speed of your ghost car by pressing down on a speed controller until you reach your desired speed
• Once you've reached your desired speed while still pressing down and maintaining your speed - take your index finger and simultaneously press the lane change button
• You can now put your controller down and the ghost car should continue driving around the track until you remove it or press the code button again to program it

We are new to this and love the carrera product line. Wife and both enjoy the 1/24 cars and the digital aspect that make it a lot more real.please keep up with the video’s. We have a 1400 square foot space in the house this will all ultimately go in. I retire in less than a year. Will be fun
Thanks for these videos! I am a new owner of a 1/32 digital Carrera set. The instructional booklets that come with the digital add-on's are rather wanting in clarity, and these videos are so helpful for quick set-up/programming.

The front of the car should be in the track, hold the back of the car up (hold the car) and then press the Code Button again. At that moment, the car stops and you can recode it.
thanks. Any hints to slow the cars down slower than the factory settings. I have grandkids and they love the track I built for them, but slower and even better control would be great
opened my carrera wireless set today... all great except 1 controller not syncing to any car.. any suggestions
This did not work for any of my cars or controllers(including wireless)
How to deprogrammed the car ? The car programmer rest non control... non speed controls after the ghost mode

I bet someone can find a way to hack/emulate a controller with an RPI or Arduino. Then you can store controller input on the custom chipboard and it would output to this hacked controller & the track == fast, organic ghost mode
