This video is very helpful. thanks for posting it. I think you pretty much covered all the basics to get someone started.
It's easier to put the red clips in as you go. Just slide 2 of the red clips in one piece of track and slide another piece of track onto it until they are snug, then put your finger underneath and slide the red clip over until you hear it click.

Are the red clips necessary? I’ve had a set for 15+ years. Never used the red clips. But the bigger question I have; can the “control/power” section be REPLACED with a standard analog power section, if I just want to run analog cars? (Yes I know I wont be able to lane change but will that lane change section need to be removed)?
I can't find the fuel gauges.Where can I find them?

For this particular configuration, you'd need at least 4x8 feet.

Agreed, this is an awesome slot car set, service by This company is great, but if u want a big, interesting track, u better have space and a wife who is patient. Also, the floor is not optimal. It needs to b on a table, big table. It’s that simple. Don’t get fooled, it’s big. I love 1:24 scale cars but also run 1:32. The cars themselves r a work of art.

Hi there, I'm desperate for help and i don not find any answers anywhere... so as I'm subscribe to your channel because of your expertise, knowledge, videos etc etc I thought you might know how to solve my carrera digital 132 problems... Basically every time I want to code a car it goes to RC #3 no matter what so now all my 22 cars are coded to RC #3 and I can not turn on/off the lights and all of them do change lanes without me clicking on the change lane button, basically all my cars are now in 1 throttle #3 and do change lanes every single change lane piece of track... if friends bring over their cars they stayed the way they play at home but if we try to code the their cars again automatically they are coded to #3 throttle... Did it happen to you at some point? do you know how to solve? or do you know to whom I can ask for help? it does happen every time permanently even do I reset the unit control several times.... Please advice Getting really frustrated here... Cheers!!
Did you ever solve this problem? Maybe it was a bad control unit or a bad wireless receiver.
Like an idiot I inserted my wireless dongle into the right slots, thinking that the left slots were for 'Towers'.
