  • After owning the piece for a month, thought it was about time to show it to the world.
    I am not a professional or a critic, so take this all as you would someone having a yarn at the pub, which it definitely sounds like I am doing.
    Probably won't make any more videos ever, but who knows. Thanks.

    Man, this is a gem of a review. Wish you would’ve kept making reviews of any sort. You have something special. Never saw someone mention all the details perfectly like you have here. For example, the polished finishing between the bezel the lugs that look like they hang over but the wrist but are actually all right.

    Great vid, TY for posting 👍 I do not yet own an Aquascaphe dual crown, but I do have compressor style offerings from Seiko, Orient, CCCP, Berny and some Rdunae R3s done in and all have some indices that look misaligned with the bezel minute markers when others are bang on. All *except* the Seiko (I know, weird, not what I was expecting!) and the Rdunaes (not really fair bc the minutes are lg squares). I don't know how 8t us possible, like it's a physical anomaly and my mind can't grasp it. Still wear the hell out if em though 🤷🏼

    I'm a very happy owner! By the way, no line-up dial problems with mine. Maybe I was lucky...

    Nice review, especially the flaws, no other review showed those! It's quite a gorgeous design. Just wish the indices were applied and not printed flat at this price.

    It's such a beautiful watch. I'm not a diver but would like to be able to adjust the rotating bezel while sailing without removing it from wrist. Have you been able to move the bezel while on wrist? Thanks

    • @karuma9277
      @karuma9277  7 місяців тому

      You can definitely turn it on wrist, it's just slightly fiddly and a traditional bezel is way easier. Because the crowns are small and the turns don't move the bezel much, it just takes a bit more time, but I still use plenty.

    Nice review. Without gloves you can’t use the top crown on wrist? Looks to me it should work fine.

    • @karuma9277
      @karuma9277  2 роки тому

      It does work fine day to day, just not the easiest crown to operate while on wrist. Can imagine it'd be even harder with bigger wrists/hands but I get by fine with it.

    Does the Baltic wear/feel a lot bigger than the Seiko on wrist due to the inner bezel?

    • @karuma9277
      @karuma9277  2 роки тому

      Spot on. The inner bezel almost feels like an extension of the dial because it's sloped too. It still wears nice on wrist, just a lot bigger presence.

      @@karuma9277 I was thinking about getting the JLC Polaris. That has an inner rotating bezel..maybe I shouldn't.

    • @karuma9277
      @karuma9277  2 роки тому

      @@ShadowJ20 I think that's a fantastic watch still, all I'll say is that they appear to be a larger watch diameter than usual because of the no outer bezel and the larger inner surface. If you can try one on definitely do, I'm still super happy with the Baltic and I have a small wrist.

    does the internal bezel move easily?

    • @karuma9277
      @karuma9277  11 місяців тому

      Super smooth, just doesn't move a lot of distance at once. Need a few turns until you're even at the six marker.

    I was going to pull the trigger on this one but there is an extra tax amount of 140€ more or less for US buyers. So IDK, it makes a difference
