Thank you for doing a long term review. This has become my daily wear. I can buy almost any watch and this little gem just speaks to me.
Many people come up to me to ask me about the brand and it has allowed me to make new friends. It is a business and casual watch.

Great to hear it's still holding up even as a daily wear. Baltic has really cemented themselves among the top microbrands for longevity and quality.

Looking forward to the YEAR 5 review! Just bought my first black silver model and your videos definitely helped influence the purchase!

One thing to note about faux patina, is that the longer you own the watch, the less 'faux' it becomes in a sense. It kind of ages into the age it displays in my opinion. Glad to see you're still wearing it, wear it in good health for another year!

My wife recently gifted me the blue version of the classic aquascaphe (with an additional beads of rice bracelet) and it’s gotten so much wrist time! What I love most about it is that it is a durable watch with great aesthetics. There are some who have issues with faux patina, but just as modern homes can be renovated with the mid-century modern theme, I don’t see why this cannot be done with watches too! Love it, and thanks for this review series!

Thank you, I enjoyed looking back your four subsequent long term reviews of this beautiful watch very much. Nice to hear that it holds up so well over the years, especially since you have been wearing it so much. I think why the case does scratch so little is because it's sort of protected by the overhanging bezel with it's knurled edge. When you bump into somtething with the watch the knurled edge of the bezel will take the hit in most cases so you're less likely to scratch the case sides, and the knurled edge itself doesn't show scratches that easily, let alone the sapphire insert. Anyway, I think the fame Baltic earned with this model is very well deserved. Beautiful watch, I definitely want one, with both the beads of rice bracelet and a single pass nato, which they also offer on their website.

Glad to hear the Miyota is holding up. I've recently bought two Citizens Promasters using a Miyota 9051. Sometimes they will sync up to within 6 seconds of each other, sometimes one will be steaming ahead 40 seconds fast. However, after 8 days they both are less than 10 seconds out, one is currently running +5 seconds a day.

They now have showrooms in Paris, London and new York. I think it's safe to say they have transcended from micro brand to full a blown independent watch company.

Thanks! I just got the bronze version, and love it, but the buckle, while lovely, digs into my wrist and I’ll have to put another strap on it, perhaps a Chevron nylon strap by worn and wound.

Thank you for the video! Very calm and collected style that goes on with the watch itself.
I was meaning to ask if it is possible to calibrate the movement, say, up to +-3 seconds a day if there's an initial tilt as high as in your case. I'm asking because I've recently seen content on Seiko Turtle SRPE93 and it's been stated that the 4R36 movement in it is calibrated on factory within that tight margin. It really turned my attention back to the "affordable" 350 dollar range mechanical divers

    Hi
Is it possible to hand this watch to a watchmaker to regulate the movement to close to COSC or is the movement too limited for that.
    Thanks.

I love my Baltic Aguascaphe bronze brown to death! Runs great after a year worth of use, but my only complaint is the lume; starts great but dies fast. My experience with the company has been great seems they totally care about their clients.

Tudor is the only company that can due aged lume patina right. The faux aging with some black bay models is tastefully done.

Nice vidéo. Do you have problem with crown? Several owners say that crown doesnt have "stability" when they remote the mouvement

Still a gorgeous watch. Though there are a lot more pretty vintage style divers now.
I think calling it ‘very original’ is sugarcoating it a bit. I’ve seen some vintage divers (ie the Bathyscaphe) that look very similar.

I have Aquascape classic silver white. The lume is bad but the biggest problem with my watch is the bezel. I’ve hade it sent to Baltic about 3 times but still my bezel has once AGAIN started to spin in both directions.
I’ve seen some others having the same problem so for me the watch is more of looker than a quality piece. I love the design but I will never buy Baltic again.

Send it to a watch maker and they will fix it. It is like 30 bucks.

Dont like new watches with a vintage look. The ones with white green blue loome ok. Omega at a much higher price did it to 😮.

...still way to expensive for a Miyota 9039 - € 550.- would be ok but not more...
And what is this silly Argumnet with inflation?
Just because inflation is high doesn't make the watch worth more... the argument is ridiculous

Clearly inflation either doesn’t affect you or is something you don’t understand much
