    Can you advise on an aftermarket escorted motor controller. Seems to so much variability online. Thanks

    Love those 24V RZR.
    Do you have any experience with the short lived Huffy Torex UTV? The suspension on that seems awesome.

      Sorry, never worked 9n one.

      @@CustomKidzCars No problem. They did a recall on them which made them discontinue it I think. But I'm going to keep an eye out for one locally because the suspension appears to be double A arm front and rear with AWD.

    Kinda off topic. I’ve been looking at the big toys green country utvs, but the battery life seems short. Is it easy to add another battery to extend drive time?

      Yes, either swap for a higher ah battery or add a second one in parallel. Went over this upgrade in our review video of the big toys 4x4 UTV

    Do you know where to get the hitch adapter for the rzr 800. I have one with part of the hitch but seems to be missing part of it. And I have another one that has nothing on the rear diff. I can't find anything for the 800 rzr rear hitch.

      Pretty sure it only came with specific units. I would call peg perego directly to see if it's available to purchase. I looked and couldn't find it anywhere for sale.

    I have a rzr 800 (gray seats) with a controller popping its 30A fuse. Water got under the board where there was no epoxy. I'm hoping to figure out what component is bad. New controller is about $135. I was looking at the razer crazy cart set up. Controller and variable petal, About $60.What controller and petal set up do you suggest?

    • @CustomKidzCars
      @CustomKidzCars  2 роки тому +1

      Crazy cart has no braking OR reverse so that is not a good option. A standard scooter ESC and hall pedal is your cheapest option. Still will need wiring to dpdt relays for braking and reverse if u don't pick one with built 8n reverse switching

      For the scooter controller, would I get the 24v 350w even though I'd be running two motors not one. Or would I need to go bigger, like the 500w to run the two motors?

    How would I upgrade the current remote control that came with the car to the type you use in your builder?

    • @CustomKidzCars
      @CustomKidzCars  2 роки тому +1

      U need to rewire the setup as described in our how to video. ua-cam.com/video/AcVkwMPjTos/v-deo.html

    I have the old one. How did you do the separate battery for the lights? Also when charging the car does it charge the accessory lights?

    • @CustomKidzCars
      @CustomKidzCars  2 роки тому +1

      It's a totally separate system. So it doesn't charge with the stock charger. Use a basic 12 volt charger when you need to charge it.

      @tcsmith78 2 роки тому

      @@CustomKidzCars I have mine currently running off the 24v main battery but the 12v sounds like a better idea for the accessories!

    • @CustomKidzCars
      @CustomKidzCars  2 роки тому +1

      @@tcsmith78 so u r stepping down the voltage? I considered a buck converter but it's not really that efficient and need to add switch and relay to prevent constant drain of converter. Small 5ah battery can last a week and doesn't effect run time or dim under load of motors.
