Can you kind of explain how your wiring works again? I’m doing this project myself, love the idea. But unsure when it comes to the hot and grounds from the battery wiring to the switches then to the lights.
So I got a positive wire tied into the main positive that plugs into the battery on the power Wheels it has a fuse in line and then splits off to the two switches. Second leg coming out of the switches is positive wire to the LEDs. One switch to the underglow and the other to the headlights positive. Then the grounds all hook together by the time they all connect to the ground wire on the battery harness.
Did you find any significant loss of power or run time on the battery from the lights? Got my kid one of the gators for Christmas and already looking for upgrades for it lol. Great video
I can't find the exact link I had. They're basically exactly the same as these : YUK YUK 10x 12SMD 12W Eagle Eye DRL LED Rock Lights For JEEP ATV Off Road Truck Under Trail Rig Lights White
I'd say it's about 16 gauge. The LEDs came with wire on them and I had some other wire left over from another project that was about the same size, something like small speaker wire that I had to use to extend some of them.
I don't see the exact ones I bought on Amazon right now but they look just like this set except they came in a 6 pack. YUK 10x 12SMD 12W Eagle Eye DRL LED Rock Lights For JEEP ATV Off Road Truck Under Trail Rig Lights White
I'm thinking of running them in the bed of my boys truck like back up lights. But thank you, this was amazing I want to do the same thing for my boys.

Great project.
Thanks 👍
That ride on did a wheel spin, seems much faster than a standard 12v truck. Did you boost the battery and motors on it?
It's all stock but it does pretty good
That's cool.
Thanks!

No but I did notice that if the switches get wet the lights will get stuck partially on and kill the battery after a day or so.
What are the name of the lights on amazon?

What gauge wire are you using for the lights?
