Flayer of Loyalties cannot target itself with it's own cast trigger, because it is not on the field at that moment. But I still like the fact being able to target your other own creatures, imagine getting in with a hasty 10/10 Inkmoth Nexus, that also annihilates 2. ^^ Oh and Moonsilver Key can actually grab Forsaken Monument.
Good call on flayer, that's even better that it's a cast trigger since even if it's countered it will still happen unless it's stifled. Also I did not know about the moonsilver key being able to grab forsaken monument but it does check out which is awesome!
Would recommend for replacing some of the more expensive mana rocks, you can substitute in Sol Talisman and Mox Tantilite. They get suspended from hand for low cost, but if they can be cascaded out or tutored with Urza's Saga, they work instantly.
It's a bit difficult to gauge since it's a colorless deck it lacks nearly any form of interaction (has a couple but nowhere near the norm) but being colorless allows it to ramp well and cast big dumb things. I'd say it's probably a solid 7.5, some games may go higher and others lower but on avg that feels right. It crumbles hard to artifact hate as well.
@@Cardboard_Odysseys yes, can imagine! I have been running zhuludok since it came out but can't get it to where I want it to be on power scale! You gave me some good ideas, I appreciate it. Thank you! I run darksteel forge to hopefully be a bit safe from artifact hate but it isnt guaranteed to come out every play lol.

Hmm that's an interesting idea, I normally don't like suspend cards but I can see trying them out.
This seems like a great build! What would you say is the power level of it on scale of 1 to 10?

You only get 1 extra cascade trigger with abtruse archaic
True, I've since learned this after playing the deck. Still a nice addition since it can copy a lot of other things in the deck.
@@Cardboard_Odysseys oh it’s definitely good I love the card in this deck personally
Interesting. Why does it only cascade once?
