- A mail worker is earning praise for his personal touch when it comes to delivering packages in an exchange caught on a doorbell security camera. When the unidentified worker showed up at the Washington state doors top to leave the package, the homeowner informed him she was not there and told him to leave the parcel at the door. Fearful of porch pirates, however, he offered to hide the package in a recycling bin. Social media fell in love with the sweet move. #InsideEdition

He's a city carrier. He's good but they usually have smaller route. Try to do this during the xmas season on a 1k box route. But any mailman who can communicate with the customer would do this if they were worth anything.

I delivered packages when I lived in Oregon and the hiding spots I would come up were fun. It was like a 2nd part of the job lmao. Sometimes it was hard because you have to hide it from the thiefs, but make it obvious enough for the homeowner to see. My favorite delivery I've ever done was when a lady had knee surgery and her husband wasn't home but yet her window was open. She yelled out the window when I rung the door bell [package needed to be signed for] and she explained her story but she didn't want me to leave it at the door because it was full of medical stuff. So the plan we came up with was, it's not fragile since the box didn't say fragile. So she asked me if I could throw it into the window but aim it to the left since she was on the right side in bed. mannnnnn... I missed 2 or so times in a row lmfao. Finally threw it through the window and i felt so bad and said sorry a million and 1 times before finally leaving. The next time I came by her husband was home and he invited me in to meet her and they surprised me with a to go box of snacks. It was truly amazing and you know, a lot of people don't realize how rough it is at times to be a mail man / delivery person. I worked for OnTrac and I had the worlds shittiest van, I recorded all of it lmao. Broken passenger window that was wrapped up, cracked windshield, back doors didnt latch so you had to bungie cord them shut. Side door wouldnt open, and passenger door wouldnt open. Oh, and the heat didn't work :D. One day I may post the short videos on youtube because some of it truly was funny like the time i had to yell ''ding dong'' because their doorbell was broken [according to a sign] lmao. And yes, that's recorded

True, and from experience with Amazon prime a few years ago with the new Amazon logistics, when it was a new service, it messed up massively the black Friday of all possible dates, of which I purchased about £100+ of games etc back then in the sale and they were missing, I had to cancel everything in the order and said that because of the problems with Amazon logistics at current time, I felt my prime membership was just a waste of money, since I left for a good year, then returned a year and a half ago, it's been much better than it was, so if you have noticed a severe problem with delivery, sometimes it's better to be truthful with it as a reason to not use the service
