I have struggled with verbs for some time. Your explanations make it all so much easier. I didn't know you do not pronounce the aitch. Your explanations are really clear. Thank you for all the time you spend, helping people.
I really like the large font you used in this video. Also, I have been contemplating learning Italian or Spanish, and honestly your channel made me choose Italian, it's just such a pleasure listening to you! Grazie Manu!
Hi you are super good teacher,I am from Thailand, very hard to study Italian language, but you are really help me to understand fast and clearly, thank you so much,🙏🙏🙏
Thanks Manu this is great because we can hear you demonstrating the correct pronunciation! (especially 'avevamo') Your videos are always very clear. Un bacio.
Ciao Bello! le tue lezioni sono davvero utili !! Bravissimo! Small punto! all your captions are in Upper Case - they would be easier to read if they were Lower Case. I find them hard to read. With Upper Case you just see a BLOCK of text. The eye actually scans the shape of the word - thats why Lower Case makes reading easier. Just imagine reading a book with all U/C words - molto difficile!!. Ma tutte le tue lezioni sono super !!!!! Grazie Mille!
Is it correct to say assistiglielo and aiutaglielo for “assist him” and “help him” respectively? What is the difference between these and aiutatelo or assistitelo? Or do they all mean the same? Thank you for any clarification!
@@italymadeeasy Ciao Manu! Ahhh I am so glad you are making videos still! I have been grinding to learn Italia lately and I’ve been struggling. Just watched the alphabet video ❤️ totally just subbed
In Spanish, there's Imperfect for setting the scene like "I used to eat eggs when I lived in Mexico" and Preterite for specific actions ended in the past like "I ate breakfast this morning" and also the Auxiliary Haber which is pretty similar to what you describe above. What is the most common way to say something you just did in Italian? Is it the Passato Prossimo?
Ciao sei un grande insegnante👌 Vivo in Francia, i miei genitori sono napoletani. In napoletano diciamo così (esempio) : Quant anni tiene? Teng 43 anni ..... Grazie per i tuoi video😉
Dude ! I wish there's a french version of your course the Essere and Avere are used the same way as in French. It makes sens to me. But I enjoy your content and for now to translate Ita-En-Fr.
Manu, I wonder often about the sounds of `o` and `e` in italian words. Open? or closed? For example, in `ho`, I thought it was closed. When I listen to you, I learn it is open like in `andrò`. In `questa`, `quella`, I thought the `e` was closed, but apparently it`s not. In `grazie`, I thought it was closed, but I`ve just learned it is not because of the combination of `i` and `e`. Is it worth it to make a video about this topic?
Question: If I purchase the monthly membership, and as I progress, will I have access to all the courses that you offer (Beginner Italian Level 1 Beginner Italian Level 2, Intermediate Italian Level 1, Intermediate Italian Level 2, Intermediate Italian Level 3, etc? Or is it just a monthly membership for Beginner Italian, excluding all other courses?
Thanks so much this really helps me figure out how to translate Italian documents. I see "Hanno" quite a bit when they are talking about something the witnesses did in reference to a certificate, etc. Grazie mille!
Hello, I'm a native Spanish speaker. Some times, when you pronounce the vowels "a" and "i" I hear an "e". This not happen always but in happened in more than one video. For example, in this video you said the word "olimpiadi". I listened several times and I always hear and "e" instead of an "a" (olimpiedi). Also it happened with the word "figli" I hear an "e" instead of an "i". I'm asking this because I found that is very interesting :) Thanks a lot for the videos! They are great!
Ciao Manu! Could you please do a video about the difference between "qui" and "qua" and "lì" and "là" ? I can not find a proper explanation anywhere. It would help me a lot! In my understanding you would use "vieni qua" as in "come here", but "sono qui" as in "i am here". Is that right? Thank you in advance!
"Qui" is synonymous with "qua". I can say both "vieni qui" or "vieni qua" and the meaning is completely the same! So "Qui/qua" means "here". The same happens for "lì" and "là"... they both mean "there". 😊
Avere (to have): io ho (I have), tu hai (you have), lei ha (she has), lui ha (he has), noi abbiamo (we have), voi avete (you guys have), loro hanno (they have) Grazie!
Spero che un giorno, avrai un altro video per noi! I am trying to use this lesson by saying, "i hope one day you will have another video for us!" Did I get it right?
Italy is in full lockdown but many people from Torpignattara are still going out their home everday..Someone still going to cook other house and someone going to sell fruits, and it can be dangerous for everyone. So I request the Italian police to go there(Torpignattara in Rome) and take action as soon as possible. If anyone can please call the police and report it.. I'm very helpless.please help me.😢
Unfortunately there are areas or small villages where people don't follow the rules. It must be people who live in those places to report these incorrect behaviours ... 😔
"a" is a preposition, "ha" is the third person singular of the Italian verb "Avere" (=to have)! Here you ca find a video about the verb "avere" ua-cam.com/video/xqBwUxIr_CE/v-deo.html 😘
Pronouncing it "Heich" is commonly heard outside of North America (and I believe to a lesser extent also in Canada.) My grandmother always had HP (heich pee) sauce with her eggs and sausage. She was born in Scotland. In Canada, that's how I request it and I don't think anyone there bats an eyelash when hearing it.
Must be very specific areas of Canada then because I'm Canadian and the way he pronounces H super stands out to me haha 😊 It sound cute. I'd never heard it pronounced like that before.
You are a very nice guy.
