    • @joemama226
      @joemama226 Місяць тому +6

      @@sandornagy3484 The record was not yet pushed to the limit, there were regularly decently large jumps. There also weren't this many people attempting and failing the lift yet, nor were there specialists working towards it. Eddie's lift including the jump was insane, but it isn't quite as big a jump as people make it seem like. Just like eddie or thor or brian could demolish many USAWA records. IG what im trying to say is the deadlift record wasn't nearly as big a deal as it was now. Although Thor's lift was done under stricter circumstances, with less struggle. Mitch is gifted enough to have a chance, but nubies don't understand the casm of a difference between getting it to your knees and locking it out with someone like Mitch when it's a giant weakness. Ivan for example. Evan could break 500 off the ground but he would not lock it out. Mitchs attempt was no where close, any experienced lifter can see this, but I wish him luck, Rauno if his hamstring had not tweaked probably would of got it, again experienced lifters who have actually moved some weight can see Rauno was keeping his position and the weight was moving at his typical speed off the floor, lockout for him would not of been an issue

    • @brainletsYT
      @brainletsYT Місяць тому +1

      exactly. big difference between pulling something to the knees and locking it out. massive difference if you just think of the movement itself. lugging that 505 up and past the knees to lockout requires an entirely different form
