Personally I just use the travel case as my repair jig. I also make sure to put the battery into storage mod.

Great video. I was looking for a good print for the charging cable holder but there were so many variants. Definitely printing the one you showed off!
Thank you! I really think you’ll like it a lot. It’s a really tight fit on the cord but it’s super convenient to have.
I remixed the thumstick protectors with a panel that covers the screen, so it's like a whole clip on screen and stick protector which I use when I got a very space limited bag as the factory case is so hefty

You should look at 3d printed grip extensions as well. Ive seen designs of prints that slide on to give better grip around the pinky area for larger hands

Instead if this life saver thingy (if its not working for you) maybe stick some velcro on the back of the steamdeck and some in the case? Not sure if there would be enough space in there, so test before sticking it to the deck
But does it work with the new OLED charger brick, the cable is much longer than it used to be.

I use my old Wii U gamepad stand with my steam deck and it works fine. Tried it once but since I exclusively play my steam deck like a handheld I don't use it
Makes me wish my extruder didn't break.. Only costs $45 to get a new one, butnyoud be surprised how i still cant afford that lol

The temu skin seems to be holding up better than the case clip insert.
The TEMU skin was actually impressive. I got tired of the design and pulled it off, but it didn't leave any residue behind at all. It's kind of a steal at 5 bucks.
I use a variant of the cable storage one I use the one that's does not have the lid and just wrap the cable around several times.
