Hey, Indigofenix here! Thanks for playing my scenario and making this video! I don't think I quite managed so well this time, I focused so much on the concept and plot that the gameplay may have been hard to follow. The main concept was that as you evolve different symptoms, Cassandra's actions change accordingly (since she's infected); for example you can get places earlier by using Trojan Planes, and when her brother says she's being "too mature" that's a hint to evolve Immaturity...this basically leads to a branching storyline where you can destroy STYX from within, or slow down the work on the weapon by infecting the country it's being developed, or start a new religion, or punch Alpheus Jackson in the face. There's also a "good" ending if you manage to stop the bioweapon without humanity discovering the worm's ability to control minds.
Next scenario will be a little less obtuse, I hope!
As for how the bioweapon was programmed, let's just say it was annoying to make...there are several separate events that control its movement across every single country. The event file is so big that it cannot be loaded in the scenario creator without crashing the program; I had to edit it through a text editor. I have a copy of the file in case anyone wants to make use of it.
Nah, it was just a reference. There are other random popups in this scenario foreshadowing projects of mine, some which have already been released, others that will be in the future :)
Dawn of the Mushroom Kingdom, which Pravus also covers. There is also a reference to my own game, BoundWorlds, and my next planned Plague Inc scenario, which involves spirals. Neither of them appear in this video though, they happen randomly.
Indigo Fenix This scenario would make a great book or movie, I think. I'd read/watch it.

Spectacular idea. One of the few scenarios where there is another antagonist aside from literally human scientists.
Technically, the main antagonists ARE still human scientists, but they all want you gone to make room for their bioweapon instead of actual humanitarian concern.

- children of eris, eris is the goddess of discord (disagreement). she was known for contributing to the beginning of the trojan war.
- STYX Biotech is named after the river styx which is of course a river, but in the underworld
- terrorist hector troi is most probably named after hector of troy, one of the leaders of the trojan army.
- loxias is a term used to refer to apollo
- kassandra is a priestess under apollo
- achilles is named after the king of phthia, achilles
And of course, troi, which is one letter away from troy

Its a great scenario actually. Neurax worm become a hero and work together with human to create the cure. Just wish the ending of the scenario that human found a cure to fight back the bio weapon, not the bio weapon killed all its host and disappear by itself.

It's quite the opposite. The vast majority cannot afford to be useless layabouts. There are three ways to become one.
1. Convince a family to take you in while you contribute nothing.
2. Convince a government, charity, or private business to fund your lifestyle while you contribute nothing.
3. Obtain legal title to a source of idle capital which generates profit while you contribute nothing. Typically this means pay someone else wages and salaries to operate and manage it and then extract the maximum surplus value you can off the top.
Of these, the first requires an abundance of gullible or overly generous but wealthy people.
The second requires an abundance of gullible or overly generous but wealthy large organizations.
The third only requires two things, an organization which can defend these capital goods and your ability to control the revenues from them (lest the people you hire to run it just run it for their own benefit), and a reason for someone to give you this capital good in the first place (say, a wheelbarrow full of money). The first exists in almost all countries and the second exists in almost all wealthy people. Thus, if anyone can afford to be a useless layabout, it's people who can pay someone else to do all the work and still make a profit. Recommended solution: make capital goods the common heritage of mankind, not the propriety of individual business owners with the potential to be useless layabouts.
