First, thanks for calling it an 'instant camera' and not a 'Polaroid camera' (Instax and Polaroid are two different companies using different film technology). Second, nice shots. Third, for g*d's sake DON'T shake the film! It's an old urban myth. At best it has no effect, at worst it can damage the development process.
It doesn’t effect either Original Polaroid film or Fuji Instax film. It only effects new recipe Polaroid film you can buy now because it is so unreliable, takes longer for chemicals to do their thing and it’s about double the thickness! Shaking Fuji film and ORIGINAL Polaroid film, did absolutely nothing, apart make you feel it developed faster. The shaking habit that people did with Polaroid pictures dates back to peel apart Polaroid instant film, where you had to wipe across the finished image to stabilise it, people would often shake the picture back and forth, to dry the chemicals, obviously, it has no effect with the newer integral film but old habits die hard! You should keep both films out of very cold temperatures while the pictures develop, however.
Many nice shots. I think the last one is my favorite for nostalgic sake. You are fortunate to live in such a beautiful place. I'm liking the opportunity to see Guam without lots of people in the background. Great Job! Thanks!
Haha I remember when the instax camera became a big trend here a few years ago when I was in school. Friends would be taking pictures and some students would charge you $1 if you wanted a picture🤣
You're not supposed to shake haha Nice pics, loved it! You did a good job with the places chosen. ps: My impression is that the 11 takes better shots overall compared to the 9. I've got the 11 and I still didn't take outdoors pics or indoors at night, so I need to test it.
My opinion on these instax cameras Is that the Mini 9 has a weird but fun look to it and the pictures always come out great but for the Mini 11 these one issue I have mine for almost 7 months and so far I hate it the framing is so so off and the top always has like this black bar and my mini 9 never has that and the pics always come out blurry or overexposed or even just white. My best pick for the instax mini is to get the mini 9. Why? Is because you get to control the lighting and the photos never come out too dark or too bring. Nonetheless you don’t follow the lighting fix
Nice photos of Guam. The "boat basin" you took was actually the Agat Marina and the "Marina" in agana after Chamorro Village is Boat Basin. Still though awesome 👌🏻
Hi, I’m Italian and I watched your video because I don’t understand one thing about the camera. Because when I photograph a landscape (for example: sea, sky with clouds and sun behind it), the colors are not seen as in your photos (well accentuated and vivid) but are overexposed?
they say mini 11 dont take good shots outdoors so i never tried mine (scared to waste films lol) but your shots were all great! I might use mine soon. love your shots! ❤️
I got a mini 11 for free recently do a Rewards program at my work and that's what I decided to get. Came of the pack of film so I actually took the picture and write son at the beach of myself and it actually came out really good.
Hahaha I thought you were going to shoot a picture of that chicken. I have the exact one but in blue and I struggle taking pictures in the sun the come out very bright, anyone knows how to help with that?
Hello! Thanks for the video. Guam is such a beautiful place! I've never been outside my country so seeing your video is so refreshing. Also, can you tell me the title of the song you used at 3:33? Thank you! :)
did u struggle with overexposure? in ur video its quite bright outside but ur films turned out pretty. i tried taking it indoor with lights on and it is overexposed
I didn't experience any issues with overexposure in bright scenes. Where I really ran into issues was in scenes with high dynamic range. Anytime I had highlights and shadows in the same scene, the camera freaked out and didn't know what to do hahaha
Have to pay the deposit ASAP as we will need it in advance and I shall 😌 🙏 🙂 😊 😉 on my m for a couple hours to the back and back from a good one 👍 😀 😄 😊 😉 ☺ 👍 😀 is the first one to make a few more than one other thing in my mind 😀 ❤ 😄 and I are going out with

Hahaha thanks Richard... I will never shake the film ever again :)

The film is hella expensive, so that’s reasonable. 😂
I remember when all stores had at least 3-5 different instax accessories.
Thank you for using our island as a canvas and expressing your feelings using our island
Cool photowalk you did out there brother! Love all your creative shots and my favorites are the first one and the shrine!!
This video is so chill yet entertaining. Love it, love the place too! 😍
haha thanks! Glad you enjoyed it :)

Awesome shots. Thank you for capturing the beauty of the island. Now I’m itching to take photos again
The one at the boat basin is my favorite.

Do you leave the flash on when taking pictures outdoors?
I'm gonna buy one 🙂

Lovely images 👌 😍
Great video.
Another good vlog 👍🏽
Good shots💜💜
i wanna ask, how to handle to much exposure in instax mini 11?
Shaking instant film was never necessary. I don't know why people started doing that.
i like your shots bro
Thanks, Elias!
Which shot was your favorite?
I really liked the first one!!
I like the very last one...the easy shot 😊
It all looks blurred. Why?
Hey, does the flash fire in broad daylight?
the pictures aren't overexposed like how? 😭

Have you try to take photos at night? Its fine or is too dark for instax mini?
Thank you ☺️
I haven’t tried taking it out in the dark yet. If I had to guess, I think it would struggle in low light 💡
