With there being more than 1100 episodes I’m honestly surprised there aren’t more changes in voice actors
This somthing iv often thought about. Like many of them have been there for nearly 30 years. The reboot is going to have to have different actors.
Defintely a few on the English side due to them passing away
I would honestly welcome some changes. For example Franky´s VA has been struggling for a WHILE now. I feel like it got a bit better recently, but he has certainly aged the most out of the bunch.

I believe that Jun Fukuyama (voice of Lelouch from Code Geass) should do Sabo! Which in a way should be interesting since Sabo & even Dragon's respective character Arc aren't so different from that of the Code Geass' protagonist.
Not sure about that since I prefer the Dub of Code Geass.

The characters being similar have nothing to do with the voice actor and shouldn’t drive casting. A trap quite a few of you are falling for. Casting for a voice isn’t quite the same as casting for a character. Some of it can apply and carry over sure, but it being your primary factor no.

Tho, tbf, seeing a movie 45 times isn't out of the ordinary for Japanese fan behavior. When I worked for Tokyo Disney, we had fans who would come to the park EVERY DAY just to see our show. And that was before Park Passes. So we're talking the equivalent of $65 five days a week for over a year.

Honestly, I was thinking Kengo Kawanishi might fit the bill (he's Muiichiro in Demon Slayer, Tsugeura (orange hair muscle guy) in Wind Breaker and Toru Kishiri (3rd gen pyromancer in division 5) in Fire Force, and others, but that's mainly where I know him from) until you said Eren's VA, he would fit perfectly.

yeah, my favorite option is Yuki Kaji. sad to hear about the old Sabo voice actor but I'm glad he is at least taking responsibility and not trying to deny everything.
I know it sounds crazy but overly obsessive can cause alot of trouble. There is many things that can make one person button being push over and over. There could be threatening or even manipulation to get him to leave his wife etc.
So it comes to a point that never gets involved with an overly obsessive person. Second is don't take opportunity of someone due to your standing. He take advantage of it which led to this situation. Third which is very important. Your dignity and reputation. It's not worth it with all the things you have build up just to be remembered for the awful things.
Hope both parties learn from their mistakes and move on. It is really sad with force abortion and laying hands on a person. It is an unfortunate reality of a toxic relationship.
I believe oda and their editor would choose the best voice actor to replace.

I'd prefer Gojo or Giyu, really, but it could be someone completely different from these four. I wouldn't be surprised if his voice doesn't change until after the Sabo stuff because, depending on how close to those episodes they are, they could have already done their lines for those episodes, but there's also the chance they will just have someone redo all those lines and hold off on those episodes before they get released if needed, because I think the One Piece anime has improved a lot in these last few years.

Kinda crazy that Sabo has now had his voice actors replaced for both his English and Japanese VAs over separate scandals. For those who don’t know, for the English Dub, Vic Mignogna was originally cast as Sabo until he was essentially blacklisted from the industry from a multitude of sexual harassment allegations coming out about him and his conduct in the workplace. This led to Sabo being recast to be played by Johnny Young Bosch, who has played him since. Most of Vic’s original work as Sabo has been dubbed over by Johnny, but in a few pieces, such as the Episode of Sabo TV Special, Vic’s performance has been kept completely intact.
