Honestly the whole travel aspect of kuma’s fruit reminded me of how the key “components” of instant transmission and flying raijin techniques operate in that there has to be a connection of some sort to use the technique being the aspect of locking onto a familiar energy signature for the instant transmission and the formula seals that minato and tobirama both had when they used the flying raijin and ironically enough they could use each others unique raijin formula seals
I don't think I'd call Buggy's foot hitting Zoro in the LA a mistake (unless it was both at the same time?) Yes it was technically stated that his "feet" need to be on the ground for him to fly, but one foot seems to be enough because we have seen his feet walk before

It was ALREADY implied Fujitora is from Wano but now this sword is the literal PROOF. -- 52 years 25 people left Wano -- 10 people stayed and founded Shimotsuki village while the other 15 wandered the world That means that any and ALL characters with any link to Japan (Wano = Japan) via hobby, aesthetic, or design is 100% from Wano That included: -- Fujitora, he's definitely in his 60s so he likely got it from his dad, also aesthetic wise, it's pretty damn obvious -- Akainu, he is 55, that means he was either born outside of Wano or came as a baby. His link to Japan: he has an irezumi (Japanese yakuza tattoo) -- Kumadori from CP9 and his mom, obvious Kabuki aesthetic -- Tashigi, she's obviously another Shimotsuki cousin thanks to obvioius "ANIME GENETICS". We all thought Shimotsuki Ushimaru would be Zoro's dad but he turned out to be a great uncle, they're still related AND look alike, so it's 100% sure Tashigi is another cousin. Also the "sword geek" is the link too.
just because fujitora has a sword made in wano doesnt mean he is from wano and definitely not a proof enough to say 100% so we need a bit of more information to say for sure
@@不死鳥ATC Occam's Razor, the ovious answer is the correct one Why would you NOT think Fujitora is not from Wano? It's like seeing that South Park episode making fun of trans and there's Randy Savage dressed as a woman calling himself "her", would you believe him when you can see otherwise? Fujitora is 100% from Wano UNTIL proven otherwise, it's right in front of us Thank you for your devil's advocate comment though

Maybe not in the live action but in the anime since it is in Egghead arc right now. They could show briefly the battle between Ace and Hanafuda in the anime when it reaches the Kuma flashback episodeds
@@lordfreezer5631 maybe but that would be a first, I don't remember oda designing a character that would only be seen in the anime (not counting the movies)
I imagine the stuff with Kuma not seeing Kureha is just that Oda can't have Chopper know who Kuma is beforehand. Because he was already living with her by the time Bonney had gotten sick, he would have been there if Kuma had seen her to try and ask about a cure for Bonney. Though I'm sure you can get a decent fanfic out of the idea of Kuma taking Bonney to Kureha, and her having met a pre straw-hat Chopper, since both of them were basically isolated and treated as monsters by those around them, with the other kids of the village thinking Bonney is a vampire.
I mean, it's not a big deal but I still feel the need to point out, Hanafuda is NOT the name of a game itself but actually just the name of the type of playing card used in Japan for not just one specific game but for various games, generally for gambling.
I feel like with the bonney question. She has to be able to stay whatever age she wants either for longer or permanent. She was always shown in her older form till we learned the truth about her age, and really the only time we ever saw her change forms was when she turned into an old lady (as now we know that her turning into a kid at sabaody was her true self) It'd make sense If the user could game the system but would revert to their actual age when they're knocked out or have sea stone cuffs on
I think with Lucci and his gang the thing was that they absolutely did not want to work under Spandam or his father ever again, once they got rid of him they joined back.
I literally thought about this when I saw it haha, I was like oh tekking coulda just waited for Oda to say what the cane sword was called instead of looking it up lol

With regards to Hanafuda, I have a question (to any who may have the answer): I read or heard somewhere that Oda plans out the stories of several characters before deciding whether he should incorporate them in this story and before choosing how to incorporate them. Then, he decides if it adds to the narrative. Are these statements true? If so, what are these sources?
Hanafuda looks like his design eventually became aspects of Kid, Killer, and X Drake. His name being based on a card game, and him collecting ancient zoan users he may have inspired the concept of the tobiroppo too
@@saeedabdo2083 that doesn't mean they weren't part of some sort of grand fleet under Hanafuda. I think he's the man marked by flames personally, Ace definitely gave him burn scars if he is still alive.
If I remember correctly Oda didn't originally intend to have the warlords, just going straight into the Emperors, so maybe Hanafuda is the proto Kaido that we would have gotten?
I never got the impression that CP9 was going for the government or were done with them at the end of the cover story. They went back to their homeland like it's a nostalgic place, even though it's a government training facility. They watched over the future agents training. And they even fought to protect the peace of that place. They never thought badly of the government. Spandam was the whole reason why they were pursued, and so they were only out to get him. And Spandine was like the real mastermind, so ended up rooting him out too.
Idk if this is crazy talk but I’m fully convinced “the man marked by flames” is a lunarian. I just feel like oda still has something epic in store from those little flames on there backs.
@@jinkun2629 then someone like Marco, who’s devil fruit gives him infinite stamina unless haki damage is involved would be able to fly as long as he’d like.
@@Xanezo It's never been said that Marco has infinite stamina. In fact, his fight against King and Queen suggest the opposite. He even took a ride on Shanks's ship until he was close enough to Sphinx Island before flying.
@@jinkun2629 pretty sure the ride on shanks ship was just to have a convo with shanks. But yeah, if he’s fighting haki users then his stamina gets drained. But if he was just flying? No combat, probably would be fine. Devil fruits don’t really drain stamina when used causally.
@@Xanezo I still think it takes stamina. Take walking for example. It's a very casual thing to do for humans. But can you walk forever? It will still end up tiring you out after a while. You will need to rest and eat before you can do that again. Birds are the same. And unless Marco can live without eating, he can't fly infinitely. However, Shiki can. He doesn't need his hands to fly, so he can grab food and eat while flying. That's another limitation that he doesn't have. Marco can't fight with his hands while flying. Shiki can. He just has no limits whatsoever.
Bringing up the limitations of what Dr Kureha can do makes sense in the grand scheme. I remember people asking why Corazon didn't take Law to see her to get the White Lead Disease cured. It might very well have been that even Dr. Vegapunk couldn't have been able to do it, and only the OP-OP Fruit was capable.
My best guess is why hanafuda got a full design is because he might be shown in the live action one piece as a cameo simliar to the orginal mr 7, nothing to major just a cameo apperence i could see
The Hanafuda/Kaido connection looks deliberate, considering his name is a card game reference like other members of his crew. The running theory right now is that he's the father of Ulti and Page One
27:20 I think it'd be cool if the new anime includes a cameo of Douglas Bullet and Byrnndi World in Impel Down, just as a little easter egg in the background.
I could totally see Hanafuda being the man marked by flames, since ace did beat him, and ace has the flare flare fruit. Hanafuda was a warlord so he wouldve been a pretty big deal. 😮 I bet you 10$ tekking!

Something I just thought regarding kuma's devil fruit limitation, could Oda made him visit mariejoa in order to be familiar with the location for future teleportations in the final war? Imagine the entire grand fleet and the straw hats and allies just appear there to wreck havoc
It's me! I'm the viewer that has a seatbelt on my seat! ♿ I don't use it at home much, but you bet your ass I buckled it 😎
Tekking, I’m not sure if you’ll find this comment, but you are the person who got me into #BRINGBACKBARRYSDAD. Without your Christmas miracle introducing him into the Tekking101 verse, I may have never truly understood what happiness really was. Now I see him in the beauty of all things; I see his smile in every child’s eyes, his kindness in every laugh we make, and his selflessness in the gentle breeze I get when walking to the nearest corner store for that missing gallon of milk. Until the day I die, I will always be wishing and praying to finally #BRINGBACKBARRYSDAD and I could never do so without your help. Thank you, Tekking!
0:47 KINGDOM MENTIONED !!!!!! YEAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH 🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Man the cover for this volume hurts to see knowing how things went
15:50 she may be not Hancock biological mother but she clearly take care of her as an adoptive mother. Boa Hancock and her sisters marigold and Sandersonia were in the Kuja ships before being captured by tenryubito’s agents then turn to slavery.
They were child not adult pirate . She clearly raised them with the idea to make her the new empress she saw Hancock talent and willpower
thank you tekking!! been a big fan for years. Literally helped me in my darkest times cuz it was like i had a awesome spazzy friend talking to me about his favorite things!!
Thanks for all the good times man!
Youre the absolute best one piece/bleach youtuber!!!
It will be crazy if the royal knights have all the remaining supreme grade swords. Like, Oda just reveals all of them at the same time.
Hanafuda sounds like a certain minotaur who likes to collect mythical zoans from a certain DnD marines campaign
34:42 that type of fidelity with the fruit would actually, getting into the 'Vivi gets the Paw-Paw' theory, what if due to how the both of them are raised, Kuma's Powers are exponentially more explosive but maybe Vivi can do some super precise stuff like faux sniper bullets or a Ty Lee acrobatics pressure point blast thing, we've seen that Vivi is fairly capable, to your time skip excluded and knows some sort of hand-to-hand combat because she had the peacock rings so maybe going with a more physical brawler thing could be cool
Thank you. Because of you I stayed reading the manga. Incredible story. Thank you
Remember Wapol was in charge of the Drum Kingdom so Kuma probably couldn't meet Dr. Kureha as Wapol was still hunting her down.
24:35 - If that was how it worked, he could just make other people's clothes float & take them with it.
You'd be hard pressed to have clothes stay together lifting a person's full weight.
@@LupineShadowOmega Same with the swords.
That seatbelt comment had me dying telling. Always listen to your videos when I'm driving .
I don't think I'd call Buggy's foot hitting Zoro in the LA a mistake (unless it was both at the same time?)
Yes it was technically stated that his "feet" need to be on the ground for him to fly, but one foot seems to be enough because we have seen his feet walk before
I seem to recall a sort of flying kick attack as well, but that may have just been in the anime.
I remember almost all of these questions being asked in previous videos! This is so crazy to answer all of these all at once 😮
Kaido must of been pissed when hanafuda was beat by ace, he was a perfect candidate for his crew
Love that Oda is filling us in on some interesting info with this SBS & yes Hanafuda looks so interesting to be added to the story
Yooo, Summer War mention lets goo!!!
Im so happy youre reading kingdom Tekken! I just read it last summer and it became my favorite manga of all time, even surpassing OP for me. Ive been waiting so long for a major content creator in our community to give it some attention and im overjoyed its you! Enjoy the second half of the story! The coalition was peak, but it only goes up from here. Kanki and Shin are the greatest characters ive ever read about.
It was ALREADY implied Fujitora is from Wano but now this sword is the literal PROOF.
-- 52 years 25 people left Wano
-- 10 people stayed and founded Shimotsuki village while the other 15 wandered the world
That means that any and ALL characters with any link to Japan (Wano = Japan) via hobby, aesthetic, or design is 100% from Wano
That included:
-- Fujitora, he's definitely in his 60s so he likely got it from his dad, also aesthetic wise, it's pretty damn obvious
-- Akainu, he is 55, that means he was either born outside of Wano or came as a baby. His link to Japan: he has an irezumi (Japanese yakuza tattoo)
-- Kumadori from CP9 and his mom, obvious Kabuki aesthetic
-- Tashigi, she's obviously another Shimotsuki cousin thanks to obvioius "ANIME GENETICS". We all thought Shimotsuki Ushimaru would be Zoro's dad but he turned out to be a great uncle, they're still related AND look alike, so it's 100% sure Tashigi is another cousin. Also the "sword geek" is the link too.
just because fujitora has a sword made in wano doesnt mean he is from wano
and definitely not a proof enough to say 100%
so we need a bit of more information to say for sure
@@不死鳥ATC
Occam's Razor, the ovious answer is the correct one
Why would you NOT think Fujitora is not from Wano?
It's like seeing that South Park episode making fun of trans and there's Randy Savage dressed as a woman calling himself "her", would you believe him when you can see otherwise?
Fujitora is 100% from Wano UNTIL proven otherwise, it's right in front of us
Thank you for your devil's advocate comment though
@@n1hondude what's occams razor ?
can't say anything to the southpark comment xD have no idea about that
back to Fujitora that's just my opinion calm down haha
I get that there are a lot of hints like his looks. but as long as we have no confirmation I ll stay on the neutral side.
kinda also depends how u define someone from Wano.
like is it enough if only relatives were from wano but you yourself have been raised outside like Kuina and zoro or do u have have to actually lived there to call yourself from wano.
Maybe Hanafuda design being so detailled could be to make him possibly appear in the Live action the way oda made a full design of mr.7 ?
I feel like Shiki was introduced way too early considering the amount of inconsistency and retcon oda goes through with the fandom.
She was always shown in her older form till we learned the truth about her age, and really the only time we ever saw her change forms was when she turned into an old lady (as now we know that her turning into a kid at sabaody was her true self)
It'd make sense If the user could game the system but would revert to their actual age when they're knocked out or have sea stone cuffs on
the former Empress toritoma definitely died of lovesickness for shanks
when I saw the info on this I remembered you. This one is packed
Maybe Kaido being obsessed with zoans was foreshadowing the Nika fruit
just quickly wanted to say i am happy you also read Kingdom
I think with Lucci and his gang the thing was that they absolutely did not want to work under Spandam or his father ever again, once they got rid of him they joined back.
12:30-My immediate thought:
“IT’S THE FINAL SAGA!!!” *trumpets* DOO DOO DOO…DOO DOO DOO DOO DOO… DOO DOO DOO…”THE FINAL SAGA!!!”🤣🤣🤣🤣
Dododoo doo. Dododo doo. Dododoo doo. Dododo doo doo doo.
The final countdown is here?
After my whole life?
But... I am still young.
I literally thought about this when I saw it haha, I was like oh tekking coulda just waited for Oda to say what the cane sword was called instead of looking it up lol
Surprised shiki and Fuji haven't met yet. Sword user who can float/levitate they'd be great buddies. Also lost parts of their bodies. Fuji eyes shiki legs
cause his fruit is not canon
Oda has too many tangents remaining as it is now, Shiki might never be seen again
@@aleccampbell7707 same as like half the strawhat backstories since even Zoro was mentioned off manga.
Oda put too much on his plate and it's obvious
@@mr_moose0368 like oda said in this sbs, reading comprehension, his fruit is canon, he didn't want anyone to have it but after the movie gave him this fruit oda has to use it in story if he uses shiki
Tekking I know your just a guy making videos but I’ve been watching you for YEARS now, you are my comfort UA-camr and I watch your videos the night before every big exam to go to bed and you have got me all the way to the point where I graduated with my doctorate and I still watch your videos for my licensing exams. So in short I know you don’t actually know me but thanks for always being there tekking.
Tekking! Ive been watching your videos for years and i just wanna thank you for being the one guy that picks a part my favorite anime and get in depth on topics like this and the devil fruits and everything your really great at what you do and i love watching your vids. Ive never commented before i just wanted you to know how awesome your vids are i watch everyone you post and i cant wait to see one piece to the end with you in the future 😊😊
Looks like an design that ended up in kid and killer with the scythe and robot hand
Lol I've always assumed Shiki could only fly because of the swords in his legs
This legit might be the greatest SBS of all time
Hanafuda looks like his design eventually became aspects of Kid, Killer, and X Drake.
His name being based on a card game, and him collecting ancient zoan users he may have inspired the concept of the tobiroppo too
It's possible Kuma never met Kureha, but was greeted by Wapol who said we can't help leave
Maybe some of Kaido's crew were part of Hanafuda's before Ace clapped him. Like Sasaki for example could have been one of Hanafuda's core crew.
No, because King mentioned that Sasaki and Who's Who were the captains of their own individual pirate crews.
@@saeedabdo2083 that doesn't mean they weren't part of some sort of grand fleet under Hanafuda. I think he's the man marked by flames personally, Ace definitely gave him burn scars if he is still alive.
A good video idea would be to predict if any known swords in the story currently are ranked swords
Wow, Oda gave is so much information in this SBS! :)
I wonder if we are going to get a bunch of volumes after the series is over, but it is full of SBS questions.
I ant to see Oda go crazy with the SBS at the end. Like saying Zeff's kitchen knife is a Saijo-o-grade sword.
Idk if this is crazy talk but I’m fully convinced “the man marked by flames” is a lunarian. I just feel like oda still has something epic in store from those little flames on there backs.
My glorious king is back in my algorithm
I literally just finished strong world for the first time then open yt and see this
Tekking’s tangent on flying fruits kinda falls apart when you just think of Pell, dude is a bird, he just flys, likely infinitely.
Birds can't fly infinitely. Shiki can. He kept islands floating for 20 years.
That Kingdom arc is my favorite!
The legendary swords all come in different forms and sizes❤❤❤
You're eating good with both OP and Kingdom 😄
If Fujitora is Houken, does that make Zorro into Shin
Yeah the swords floating is what I always thought was the reason he could fly.
There goes my theory that Ace beat Simon to death for trying to make him learn how to read
Kureha was not well known while Wapol ruled, and all the other doctors were under his thumb.
You know it's gonna be good when Tekking has to ENTER the room to start the video
COALITION ARC VIDEO PLEASE! I fricken love that arc in Kingdom!
Hanafuda actually collected Ancient Zoan Fruits and not users, so there is a big chance that he sold them to Kaido or had some kind of deal with him
Hanafuda made me think of Tavrock, from one piece DnD Marines, which is amazing coincidence to be relevant right now.
I was waiting for this !!
I could totally see Hanafuda being the man marked by flames, since ace did beat him, and ace has the flare flare fruit. Hanafuda was a warlord so he wouldve been a pretty big deal. 😮
I bet you 10$ tekking!
The gods knights showing up with like half of them having a saijo o wazamono
Havent seen this channel in mt feed in a min
I think Gloriosa had love sickness for another rocks member. Prolly Rocks himself or maybe Shiki, captain John or good ol’ Waaaaaang Zhi
