- After our last Guinness review we were told we HAD to go to The Gravediggers pub in Dublin as the Guinness they are serving is apparently the best in the world 🌎
Did it live up to the hype??

I'm Dutch and was never really a Guiness drinker, but after visiting this pub 2 times 1,5 months ago I now consider myself a Guiness drinker. Downside is that nothing in the Netherlands comes close to this pub, not only the Guiness but also the atmosphere, the people we've met etc. One day I'll return to this great place though...
Irish living in Amsterdam and I agree, there’s nowhere that has a remotely good pint. O’Reilly’s is where I’ll meet friends for a pint but it’s fairly inconsistent, although I feel at ease there! I’m not a big fan of bars in the Netherlands in general unless I’m on the rear with the lads. The manner in which they give you a small evaporating glass of beer that’s wet from overflowing just doesn’t appeal to me when I’ve come from the high standards of Guinness drinking culture.
It’s nice to have something to look for to when I’m home however !
One pint of Guinness each day is a good tonic. I was born in 1845 and I'm still going, i put it down to a daily pint.
A lad that’s reviewing Guiness that admits he doesn’t necessarily know what a great one tastes like yet he’s reviewing, welcome everyone to the internet,
His a Prat no wonder Rate My Takeaways killing it
Yep ,bullshit
You have a lot Ireland content, North and South, it's brilliant. Ireland is very underrated for fresh and local produce, channels like this help spread the message and also you're ahead of the game and everyone else. Do you have any Irish connections?
Its called northern ireland and republic of ireland
always go to the most working class pub for best guinness, avoid tourist traps in city centre like temple bar
You lads do not miss. We need a collab with The Guinness Guru
Its called the Gravediggers because they use to hand pints over the wall into the cemetery to the grave diggers.
Also, going for a drink was often referred to in Dublin as going for a “jar” This is because when the foreman was around the bar used to give them their drinks in a jar, rather than a pint glass.
Cant beat a good old school pub with a nice atmosphere!
“Nice to meet you slainte” 🤣🤣🤣
Unreal 😂😂
‘Nice to meet you Slaintè’. Brilliant Matt 🤣 👏
I feel like the pint was wasted on him haha. Great video all the same. Loving the Irish content...."nice to meet ya Slainte" hahah
it 100% was, you could tell he didnt like Guinness!
Nice to meet you slodga 😅😅😅😅
I live down the road from the Gravediggers, you never know who you could meet in there on any given day 😊
We need a pint review club. No chains, just good local pubs
Wonder if you’d ever get an Irish food reviewer coming to burton on Trent with an England tracksuit top on to try carling
😆 come on man, carling is pish, tasted better dishwater..
It is pishwater, but it's all they have.😂
They haven't decorated the place in over 100 years and there's no music allowed. Best Guinness in Ireland. Proper pub. ☘️
Alcohol free 0.0 Guinness is really popular in Northern Ireland and im sure its getting popular in the republic too.
Confession box also a good pint
Good shout lad. Lovely little hidden gem.
You guys should go to more pubs, not giving scores but just showing us good places for a pint. Can liven things up a bit.
Jesus nice to meet you slainte haha not been in Ireland long mate . 🇮🇪
People used be able to sit out on the lawn but recently Dublin City Corporation put a stop to that.
Deadly video boys mad respect for yous embracing it all 💯

Best Guinness is found at Bowe's.

Same here James, I'm the same way, but I do enjoy a pint of Guinness from time to time.
Should go to the Holylands in Belfast on St Patrick's day 😂

Yo this was great, loved the intro ❤️
Is the best Guinness by default, the best Guinness in the world.
I’m going there ! I need to taste Real Guinness 😂
Mothers Milk ! Nothing compares to a good pint . Looks alone is 10/10 . Stiick, Dome , Cream 🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪

Bowes lounge or the commercial in town centre are by far a better pint of guinness than john kavanaghs
Did you try the coddle?
@TheGuinessGuru
Theres something about a irish pub ❤
If them walls could talk ...
The wooden spaces are snugs we call them.

@@lardosian gobshite
Can't believe as foodies you didn't try a coddle! It's a dublin dish you can't get anywhere else!!! You have to go back and try it if in Dublin again. You just have to!!!
Ohh they have in earlier videos and loved it
💚 You're 💚 for my home town pal fair play hope ya had a good one 👍🏻🙂☘️
Geography is irrelevant. Hyper clean lines and clean glasses is all that’s required/essential for this gear.
Geography is not irrelevant, they literally make different Guinness for export, pasteurised to last longer. Within the UK and Ireland there is no excuse though. Clean lines come naturally with a regular flow, and the glasses should be hand washed to avoid chemicals and oils from other drinks getting coated on the glass. Another big factor is the cooling room: having the correct temperature, not too cold, proximity to the tap and the time the keg has been allowed to settle in there.
Please tell me you didn’t say Slojer when you tried to say Sláinte?!!
No point tasting it unless you can drink it.
Wonder what would happen if I asked for a bit of black in my Guinness 😅
A bit like going to Italy and asking for pineapple on your pizza
Barred for life 😂
Teddy bear 🐻
Guinness is good for you..
That’s what they all say m8
Yasss
bittles bar belfast Guinness unreal
It's a horrible bar that stinks of piss!
Funniest thing I've ever seen is this chump trying to work out
best guiness in dublin: frank ryan's in smithfield. don't look further. It IS the best in Dublin.
Dirty glass
Guinness is Guinness mate I been to Ireland to Irish Barr's in the states all tastes the same
Not sure he is a Guinness fan tbh
hahaha he does not like guinness
Already been done pal think of something original!!
Obviously ya man doing the presenting on this doesnt like Guinness, its as blatent as fck!
Lets get it straight, Guinness is Guinness, this fawning over it is mad, but for content I understand. Clean pipes, letting a pint settle of any stout makes sense, not just this stuff. Pub looks like a good old pub though, not enough of these around. The thing Guinness do best is market their product, because its not worth the hype.
Tbf Guinness is better in Ireland than anywhere else overseas. Not as thick or creamy anywhere else,, to me it’s stronger also in ireland
No, it’s a great drink but it’s the hippy Pricks that ruin things with words like shtick and domage. Wankers, it’s like the little girls that dress like lumberjacks but couldn’t start a saw if they’re lives depended on it. Social media gowls.
Good porter in a lot of pubs up and down the country drink it and shut up ta fuck
@@stevekay9437 I agree it does taste better in Ireland, but I'm not sure that's all to do with it actually being brewed there or just the whole charm of the experience...
@@ambienttv23 to me it tastes a lot thicker than this country, and to me stronger as daft as it sounds. I can have 3 or 4 Guinness in England and feel fine in Ireland I feel it a lot more.
Wrong about the best city... It's not Dublin... 😂 Galway maybe... Dublin... Nope!
