How is it grounded when you literally step through an inter dimensional portal that turn you into a magic man? And we don’t see the great serpent but we know he’s real
@EggEnjoyer Can we get some intelligent alien life? Idc about the Nasa Punk realistic narrative they are going w it's a space game go all out. You saying that even sounds grounded lmfao in a game where anything should be possible. I guess we have to settle for being a "Magic Man" in a mundane universe full of space dinosaurs, flying fish, and space pirates for the next 15 years. I have hope for the game but this seems disappointing.
I wonder if there will be a War DLC. There is definitely tension between the UC and FC and I can imagine they're letting you join and get to know each side because when the time comes you're going to have to pick one. This DLC adds a third faction to the mix, giving you the choice to start your own war or not. Doesn't look like we see the immediate results of the decision, but as they say they need time to rebuild/rearm, so they might be ready for it by the time a theoretical war breaks out. Va'ruun may be a wild card, either taking up the Crusade and smashing the UC and FC equally or they mediate peace talks between them. It all depends what you choose. At least that's how I'd do it.
So after all that you don't get to meet the great serpent and/or acquire some kind of really cool power to add your starborn powers? That's extremely disappointing. Here I thought we'd be able to add to our supernatural repertoire with some great serpent powers.
Yeah, and I know people don’t like it when the player character ascends to too high a position too easily, but I wanted to become the new messiah of House Va’Ruun and use my starborn abilities as proof of this.
@coleeckerman1390 I wouldn't mind that honestly. they already prevented you from becoming top dog position with all other factions in the game. Even the Crimson Fleet doesn't let you become the pirate leader (Unless I've missed a route). I would've liked at least one where we could be the leader. And House Varuun letting us be leader with our fancy powers makes sense.
I have to be blunt. I was bored through the entire dlc. It just wasn't fun. There were no unique weapons or armor that I could find. The planet seemed as bland as all the rest. There is nothing interesting to explore or discover. I really fear for Elder Scrolls 6. Bethesda seems to have lost their touch. The Elder Scrolls and Fallout franchise all had the Bethesda feel to them. Sadly, Starfield and its dlc fail to deliver that feel. I was truly hoping to get a Great Serpent reveal or some kind of twist to it. This story was just terrible.
My biggest disappointment with it was the lack of new ship parts. Ship building is one of the most prominent features of the game and they didn't even bother expanding it.
I personally liked the DLC, no issues with it, more content for a fun game. All the hate the game gets is super annoying- just don't play it if you're not happy with it instead of whining on the internet
So ... what happens after you kneel? Do you just die or what? Game over? And why are your follower's eyes glowing, is that a mod or something in the DLC story did that?
@@Wolfgangersen yeah, but remember they gave us a vehicle that just spawns, no place on the ship it is actually stored, and you cant even remap the boost button. So, Its not like its out of character as far as quality releases. IMO the DLC was decent. Uhm it def wasnt "horror" like they were making out in the deep dive. I do think they did a much better job on the terrain. But it is supposed to be hand made compared to all the random gen planets. IMO the Varuun people were far too nice to a heathen in their midst.
@@relaxedclawYeah, I wouldn’t say it’s lazy writing but poorly executed and lazy work by developers. You kneel and the screen turns white like that’s lazy lmfao.
Why skip all the dialogue, defeats the purpose if recording it.
Because Emil have written it, it's so bad
No@@jankowalski6842
Game so bad, even these objective gaming UA-camrs can't stand to record it xD
The illusion of choice 😂
And what is supposed to happen after you die? You survive?
@@tnc7399 Why not? BGS died years ago, yet they keep going.
@@isthatyoursomnomnom Bethesda always made 5-7/10 games but we always loved them because they were simple
So no space dragon? Damn they wanna keep it grounded so bad lol

This game would be so much fun if it was released in 2010.
What an underwhelming experience this DLC no choice and no consequences now the actual cool reward for completing this insignificant dlc
Not even 24 hours released and this dude made it through……..
Its 4 hours long.
I completed the dlc in like 5h, most of the time was to travel from A to B and defeat some enemies.

You must have a dogshit taste in games if you genuinely think Starfield is fun, and this is coming from someone who beat it twice.

yes its the glowing eyes mod

My God, Shitfield's dialogue system is embarrassing. The "directing" is so bad. And the writing, heh...
How does this guy have two followers?

Sarah is definitly one of the worst character ever written.
