Thanks for covering this one, Rebeka! You know, there are a lot of great vocalists out there, and even more great guitarists. But for my money, the combination of Ronnie James Dio and Ritchie Blackmore is the absolute pinnacle. My favorite combination of all time. Just wish they'd stayed together longer. Thanks again!

They were great through all of their incarnations. My personal favourite singer was Graham Bonnet, with the "Down to Earth" album. "All Night Long," "Eyes of the World," "Love's no Friend." Not saying he's better or worse, just that this album connected with me, back in the 70's and I still love it. What I liked about Graham Bonnet was exactly what got him sacked from the band. He refused to grow his hair long, to fit with what Ritchie Blackmore saw as the right image for the band. Ritchie was a "Dick" on that point. It's all about the music and really ironic that he got rid of the "rebel" non-conformist. What on earth happened to Rock n' Roll?
It's always a pleasure to listen Blackmore doing his magic.

I sometimes don't realize how lucky I am. I got to see them at The Hollywood Bowl(?) during the summer of '77, which was probably the first or last leg of the tour. Ritchie and Ronnie were all the rage during the mid-to-late 70s. Thank you for posting this classic footage.

I think this may have been the very first song I ever heard by Rainbow. I was already a fan of do and of course his work with Black Sabbath as a teenager that stuff was always on in my room or at parties or whatever..... but I hadn't heard where do I had come from and this album is just astonishingly good. Of course Ritchie Blackmore is a Legend and his guitar work here is outstanding, the band is brilliant as well, and I believe when do formed his own band he brought Jimmy Bain from Rainbow in as his basis in the do project as well. Just so damn good this whole era of 70s music was really inspired

Great reaction videos!!! You should listen to the swiss rock band Gotthard and the song heaven. It‘s really nice and the lead singer steve lee had such a good voice (he died 2010 in a tragic accident)

Thanks for the part 2, where Ritchie's solo was the highlight of this song. Love Rainbow and this concert. You really should check out Rainbow's version of the song "Mistreated", Dio's best vocal performance.

We saw Rainbow but in 82 in Norway. So sadly after Dio. However Joe Lynn Turner was not bad either👍😎🇧🇻 And girl band Girl school warming up 🤗
The best version of this song is on the album RAINBOW "On stage". No needed to cut it in 2 parts. Too bad I missed a real fireworks. But thanks anyway. 😘
