This book reveals the little known important basics of chi power cultivation and spiritual growth kept secret, lost, or hidden from newer practitioners of Taoist meditation, it is simple, direct, and powerful. Steve learned from some old school masters who escaped China before the great culling of the spiritual masters. They had a different attitude than their modern counterparts do. I received my copy 2 days ago and I can only say Wow! Thank you Steve. Just reading it makes you grow. The book title delivers what it promises and you get tons of tips and experience that you wouldn't find anywhere else. Compared to other books it is a bit expensive but the knowledge it contains is priceless. I'm really looking forward to putting what I've read into practice.

So anyone reading this, I got the softcover version a few days ago and read it through with a highlighter. This book... this is what I will be utilizing the rest of my life. First off, it's completely worth the price, in case that's causing someone to hesitate. Any typos or other gramatical issues are just so completely irrelevant. Remember, it's not freakin' Shakespeare; however, what it IS is an explicit and detailed description of the mechanisms and principles necessary to make stationary postures worthwhile. The reason I know is because the results can immediately be felt. I really know now exactly what to do and how to crank up my electricity, and it's now up to me whether or not I'll put in the required time and effort, or not. There really is nothing like this book anywhere, where it is all spelled out so driectly and so simply, and where you can instantly feel the results of implementing the information. I also really like how there is room for individual creativity and even some movement in this approach. With this, and a few of his Tien Shan videos, I really have all I need. I guess I'm not allowed to say this is better than individual training and study, but I sincerely feel like I have an incredible body of material now that can keep me growing for decades, but again I'll only get results for what I put into it. The book fully delivers, and I'm very grateful to be one of the few people who will ever have it and appreciate it, seriously. For me this book is perfect.

@@m.b.593 For me it distills it down to a few basic principles that can apply to most anything in a potent way. For example, most books and trainingd I've seen teach that one should visualize energy flowing in particular ways or in certain always engage the imagination. Here that doesn't apply, and so it is very powerful for someone like me who is very imaginative and is used to trying to depend upon imagination and mental gymnastics in order to improve. Just do things like are taught, and the result is felt.
