Thank you sooo much for showing it filtering through traffic. So many just show it on empty B roads which is fine, but for folks like me who live in the city and are looking to ride, most of our rides are limited in speed and will be for filtering in traffic. So nice one 👍, much appreciated.

You’re welcome. Filtering and getting past traffic is what bikes are made for 👍

Nice. They are great looking 125’s. You don’t see many about either.

I have a 2008 VL250LC, black. Had the same huge pipe but I put a pair of turn-out 'drag pipes' on. And saddle bags. I paid $4000 about 18mths ago with 24000km on it (I'm in New Zealand) They're a great city commuter, easy to flick around. They're not fast, but for those of us wanting comfy cheap daily transport.....They're ideal.

They are a nice comfortable option. I don’t think any cruiser bike should be fast. They should slow you down. Just relax and take in the views. 😎

3K dont seem much of a bargain to me, another 1k gets a new RE. Just a thought but as you do reviews of used bikes it would be interesting to see if they sold and if so was it because of your video.

That’s true, but that’s because all RE’s are massive bargains at the moment. They are the biggest bargains

Hi there gillybikes, I've just recently bought the same bike from a neighbour that just wanted to stop riding, I've had everything from 125 to 1300 but I love this wee thing, only thing is when I turn off the choke it revs high and when it's on it dies and cuts out. Subscribed I have

Is this bike available on a cbt and if so wiuld you recommend for a first bike? Amazing video aswell👍

In the uk if you are 17 or older then yes. A CBT and you’re ready to go. They are a good option for a first bike. There are so many to choose from though. It comes down to personal preference. I do love cruisers. It would be a difficult decision for me between this, and the Keeways. The RKV and VCruise are brilliant.

@@GillyBikes @MiataMan3357 As an Intruder 125 LC owner, I would recommend the Suzuki any day. The Keeways are a good bang for the buck and you get them brand new for cheap money, but keep in mind that the newer bikes are not that powerful and breaking the engine in is a pain in the ass, I've experienced it with a Hyosung GV 125 S. Another factor is that the resale value of a Keeway/Hyosung/Bullit/UM and whatever else exists is probably half of what you get for a used japanese bike. Also, the Suzuki handles like a big machine except for the power and for me it is the ultimate 125cc cruiser. Extremely well built, bulletproof engine and probably the best sounding stock 125cc engine.
I know it comes down to personal preference, but once you've ridden a newer cruiser and compare it with a classic one, you'll understand why the newer (chinese/korean) ones are that cheap :D Cheers & ride safe

I do agree that the sell on value is much higher on a jap bike, but the new Keeway especially the RKV and VCruise are amazing. Really well made machines. I can see their prices not dropping much because they are so sought after.

At 24 years old you would expect a bit of rust. Does it still run ? Do you still use it?

This bike was sold right after my review but In2moto always have new 125’s coming in. Might be worth contacting them to see if they have any different ones in?
