Why Did I Buy A Used (Very Used!) Suzuki Intruder 125?

- I had been thinking about getting a small motorbike for local trips to the shops and so when I saw this bike for sale I thought, 'that'll do for me', and so I eagerly rushed ahead with the purchase. I have to admit to being a bit headstrong about my wants and needs. So. I am now the owner of the motorbike known as the Suzuki Intruder 125. This may have been a mistake. 🤣
Love it. Wish it was mine. Looking forward to seeing it in it's army green.

I'm sure i wasn't the only one shouting "Pull the clutch in," at the screen John,🤣and it did make me laugh your turning the camera on at the end of the ride, comedy gold, enjoy the new winter project, i'm looking forward to following along with it.

Whether as been lovely. The Suzuki sounds ok and will be better with newer exhaust. I did the same with clutch at first it can easily be bypassed if needed. smaller bike's are good fun and easy to use. It's been that nice Iam getting new back tyre and front brakes pads tomorrow. Just sort of £300 😱

That is an unusual purchase. You already have a cool cruiser in the Harley. You have the Royal Enfield if you want off-road. The Suzuki 125 cruiser I suppose could be classified as a novelty. Something different.

I wrote my KLR 650 off some years ago now, second time I did that..... it is still on the road somewhere according to DVLC. Anyway, I repainted it Nato Dysentery Green, I got it from an ex WD shop, about £6.00 for about 500 litres. It proved an instant hit, everybody was buying it, one chap did his car in it.......!!!! One guy tried doing his wife shoes in it as well..... funny old world....!!!!!

You could paint Pike's scarf on the tank . Do you think that's wise ? Or am I a stupid boy ? Perhaps "we're all doomed " . Don't panic though . Anyway I should like to be excused .
As you are dungspreader what colour would you paint your bike?🤣🤔😂
@@JohnBain1st .I would place it in the middle of a field and use the muckspreader to decorate it "al fresco " and like the result whatever the colour .
