You should get someone you know to follow you around and have them film you during the days of weddings! That way you do not have to even worry about it! hopefully that made sense lol
I thought I should say this... I have an interned for event planning and coordinating businesses before, but I never had the opportunity to be in a coordination part. I decided to start my own business without years of experience and I don't know... not a lot of people confident in me and long story short... I watch all of your behinds the scenes and learn through you... It made me a better Event Coordinator... Just had a wedding 2 days ago and got soo many compliments. They LOVED IT SOO MCUH. THANK YOU! Thank you for showing you're behind the scenes and giving your nugget of wisdom. It gave me confidence and a little more knowledge! You have no idea how great you are.
I'm so late to this but can I just say I admire how much you love weddings and your job? It's so inspiring and positive. As a fifteen year old girl from Australia I really have no business watching your videos but I find myself drawn to them a lot. I'm that kid though that has been thinking about her wedding day since she was five so this stuff is so cool and exciting for me!
Hi Jamie, I loooove your videos. They make me feel like this wedding thing doesn't have to be so darned stressful. Most of all, I'm learning to go with the flow and laugh... A LOT which i love to do. Can't wait for my big day. Thanks for ALL of the wonderful tips. They're the next best thing to actually having you here with me. Keep up the great work!!!
This makes me more confident to be my own wedding coordinator as there was nothing done that I could not handle myself. You guys did a great job, ladies...
@@eclipseshadowyt5917 I hear you but I'm getting married in Miami, 60 people, $6000 budget. I can't afford a coordinator. I'm pretty laid back and won't be stressed out. Our venue is a luxurious Airbnb, we'll rent out chairs, tables, plates, napkins, plates, glasses. I'm DIYing all my decor, doing all my flowers (silk flowers, as my fiance and I are violently allergic) and catering my own wedding... Yes, I know it sounds silly, but what matters to me is to look good, have good food, an open bar and have fun! And I have all of that covered. I do have time on my side tho, flowers and decor can be made months in advance, alcohol and drinks can be bought months in advance as well as non perishable food. I'll hire two servers, and a bartender the day off...
@@f.-j.j.5738 it's TRUE weddings are so expensive nowadays wish you the best. I would probably have someone just do the running for you and keep pushing everything on time. Best of luck!
@@eclipseshadowyt5917 Thank you! We are spending two nights at the Airbnb. The day before I'll set chairs and tables and decor up with a couple friends. The day of, I'll set up the buffet (take food out the fridge and put on tables) and go get pampered. My servers are responsible to light up the heating plates at a set time and cut/serve the cake once it's time. My bartender has to serve drinks out of a bar I already stocked the day before. Two things I really need to pull this are time and storage space and I have both. My family thinks I'm nuts 😂... But I hosted parties and charity events for more than 300 people and 60 people is no big deal to me...
@@f.-j.j.5738 I think youll do great ! If it's just 60 ppl, I havent proposed yet but my gf and I have talked about it and she wants to have 300 guests, I think its alot but it's her day
I have to say a huge THANK YOU for being very aware of the photographers and staying out of the shots! I'm a wedding photographer and it's so irritating when we have a planner photo bomb pictures that they could easily have just stepped out of!
Love love loved this so much! I follow you on your other channel for your amazing tips but everything in planning has seemed like individual parts, I really enjoyed seeing everything come together like this!! (Can you tell I haven’t been to many weddings? 😂)
Hi Jamie, This was a fantastic video I would love to see more like this. I was wondering if you ever helped coordinate a hand fasting ceremony and if you did, if you have any tips or advice for us? My husband and I are renewing our vows for our 30th anniversary this September and are looking to add a hand fasting ceremony instead of exchanging rings. Thank you in advance for your reply.
Seems like a great DJ too! Thanks for the video. So interesting to see the behind the scenes! We are at the very early stage of planning. Really enjoyed the video. Great job! Did you plan the whole wedding or just the day of coordinator? Do you do Destination weddings?
love love love you and this video! so cool to see behind the scenes, I wish I could have you as my wedding planner (when I get engaged) but I’m all the way on the east coast :(
I was gonna go to bed and then i saw you posted today's video 😂 I think this is my fav vlogmas vid yet. I have been having wedding fever for a while now 😂😂😂
I love it! Really love it. Was supposed to take a nap 2 hours ago but i was behind vlogmas 13-15... and I can't not watch them. 😂 Now, i need to get up and get started with the remaining invitations because somebody's picking them up and help me distribute them. Oh gosh! I'm crazy. I need coffee! Love ya, Jamie!
Where did you get ear pieces like that? Starting a small on the side event planning company...I have a wedding booked in February! Looking for those for my assistant and I.
I loved this video :) I only have one question - when did it end? In the country where I live, weddings last from around 10.00 (if you have a religious ceremony) or 14.00, till 2 in the morning :D or even longer.. this seemed earlier :))
Do not understand why a bride would have a first look. I wanted my husband see me walk down to the altar. Walked down to Trumpet Voluntary with trumpet blaring!
Is it unclassy or frowned upon to go to social media to ask my “friends” about wedding planning help for connections to those who may have useful resources for the wedding? Lol
*blink blink* Imagine watching a Jamie video and when she cuts to a driving time lapse, she drives RIGHT PAST YOUR HOUSE…. WHAT?! (Bonsall… girl are we neighbors?)
Love this video! You should film behind-the-scenes videos of your weddings more often!
Esmeralda Avila I think it’d be fun to film more, for sure!
theJamieWolfer I’d love that! Great suggestion, Esmeralda!!!
I agree!!! ♥️

This actually made me cry. Ugh. I'm so excited for my wedding day! Excellent advice! 10/10!
Monica Martin awww you’re so sweet! I’m excited for you!
I adore you. You make sure the brides day is magical AF.

I hope you do more behind the scenes in the future!
KLuh E I hope to do more, too!

orangecouch right? I wish I could crash as soon as I get home, but it always takes me a while.
