I have a couple of them... and just arrived, 12ga blank with lots of smoke. That way sound will give me a general location and the smoke will linger and show me exactly where it has gone off. I use it for my far security perimeter. S/F
My security cameras (Wyze brand) have a feature that detects various sounds, including dog barks, glass breaking, and gunshots. These would presumably trigger the gunshot-detection feature for additional incident-review benefits.
Best security you can have is it pitbull mix from your local humane Society .They look mean but they’re nice as hell they can hear things coming from two blocks away .40 pound bag of old Roy food from Walmart and some water and the best friend in the world.
Ohhhhh think not. LOL. We have 3 dogs, lots of deer, and even though a 1/3 acre lot I think those going off around here would scare not only me but our neighbors. We will do with cameras and motion sensor lights. We are retired Navy and Marine and we are armed as well. Hope we do not need any of it.
Firing pin. I think that legally makes it a firearm, and even worse, a "spring gun", under some state laws. Sootch, folks might want to check with a lawyer in their own state. Nice gadget, but defense lawyers ain't cheap.
The ones that I have for 22lr do not have a hole bored at the end. The percussive gases exit out of side vents. It's impossible to make them into a gun without drilling them. The desi4 for shotgun shells is different.
Can vouch for the overseas ones not working well. The .22 ones are offset incorrectly causing me hours 3d printing a holder to offset it. Also the circlip that holds the spring to the firing pin isnt metric or imperial. God knows where they fabbed them to.
Dragon’s breath yes, but mini shells may not work. I’ve seen video where regular shotgun shells don’t work. They go off but rupture and have no energy behind them.
Not a fire arm but some states may have restrictions on blanks may fall under ammo and may be charged look at state level… but Ramset is not ammo soooo should be good boss
Not to be mean about this, but that was a bad move leaving the cat in your test area. You probably caused permanent hearing damage to the cat. Their ears are a lot more sensitive than human ears and more prone to damage from very loud noises. If you were concerned about hearing protection for yourself, you're well past the cats threshold. Nothing you can do about it now, but hopefully you can prevent any feline hearing issues for other cats in the future.
Do you think it is funny? To put a bowl of food next to an explosive device and set it off to get good footage? Do you like scaring cats? Sorry, gotta strike this one.
I actually looked into this for bears. I have an alaska trip and thought it may scare them away from camp.
I love all of these. My NYC flat shall be protected.
Yeah. You better get a 12 gauge, a pistol, a PCC, and an AR-15, just to be sure!
It's on my list this weekend. Thanks for Sharing and Stay Safe
🤓 Preach it, Brother! The struggle is real, with me too! Gotta wear my glasses all the time, these days.

Didn't you do a video for this already?
No one will ever wander into my campsite unannounced ever again.
Funny, I had just recieved mine in the mail yesterday for testing.

So cage the dogs and cull the deer? This is basic stuff! Ooooraaah, crayon-eater! 😂
I have many of these and wish they would make the firing pin rod out of stainless. The steel rusts very quickly not how well you grease or oil.
Do they not make anything for regular primers? small/large pistol/rifle?
No just 209 primers
What, if any, fire hazard can the various type of blanks cause?

Since it’s meant and designed to use blanks it’s (according to manufacturer) 50 state legal

Kind of longing for the A-Team theme music over the montage of you setting the traps

Ohhh..lol which is the loudest?
12 gauge shorty shells or dragons breath!

Poor mans claymore 😊
Nah. Poor man's grenade trap 😂
Ive seen videos where in testing that actual shot shells dot work well outside of 12”
eyes & ears
Tripwire alarm
Poor kitty……, was there a pile where the cat was?
I bought those from temu and the springs are poop
Everything from Temu is poop....
The ones from overseas are junk. The actual ones made by fith ops in Idaho work well
@JD-gn6du I agree.
$35 each for the least expensive model. No way, no how.
I'll leave these to those of you who pay $75 for a flashlight or $200 for a pocket knife.
🤣🤣🤣
I bet you buy your coffee from starbucks or a similar type coffee stand
How do you prevent children getting harmed by this, when running into the trap wire near the cartridge?
If they are smart, they’ll only do it once.
How about you raise your kids right instead of worrying about this 😂
Be a better parent and make sure that doesn't happen?
I'm thinking 10lb of tannerite
Why did you point those things towards the ground, shouldn't point them towards the incomer? Ya know like what the Vietnamese do to our soldiers?
Based! ❤
Overpriced by about $20!!!
Then where can you buy the exact same items, for less?
❤️👍🇺🇲
Are you allowed to own them as a convicted felon
What's s con doing on this channel? 😂
Buy some black powder revolvers, sonny!

They’re mail order, no background check

Lmao soyboi. Relax, the cat is fine. 😂
And this is why yall will never make it if anything goes down
😅
Veterinarian: "bullshit, don't be so sensitive, cat will be fine"
14:59 thats not paracord...
Not a fan of you using the Lord’s name in vain…
Same here
