I just told myself while clicking on this, if you have a Kore belt as an option I’m going for it. Been looking at one for a min. Use 2 of the belts for ccw
I have option 1 and a Hank Hill dumper. I've been debating between getting the kore belt setup or just upgrading the inner belt to nexbelts ratcheting inner belt.. thoughts?
@@richarddangles69 I don’t have a nexbelt but have two kore belts for edc. Basically the same style as nex. Zero complaints, prolly get ahold of my buddies at plancsupply here in town and get the battle ordered
@@richarddangles69nextbelt is amazing! I used their wratchet system for a very very long time as a ccw. My only issue with it was the way they used to attach the buckle to the belt. They used teeth, plus two screws that you cinch down onto the belt. Works great in theory but the teeth eventually stripped the belt over and over again. Their customer service did take care of me and replace 3 belts until they told me that “my belt is now 5 years old” despite it being replaced with new ones they only warrantied the original belt for a limited time. Left me with bad taste in my mouth when I pay over 100 bucks for a belt to stake my life on. Ever since I’ve stayed away from Velcro attachments and ratchets. I prefer classic buckles and keepers on anything Velcro. My stance against Velcro belts comes from having the WPS warbelt and inner ccw belt. The Velcro wears out and the last thing I want is to have one more belt come loose when I’m ccw carrying my G34 and spare mag on a pouch. It’s scary AF. Nothing will ever replace a classic buckle for inner liner or ccw. Cobra is king for war belts.
I have the Kore Duty Belt and couldn't be happier. It serves me well in what I need it for. And I like the fact that you can adjust the belt buckle as needed too.
Thank you. I’m still running the same gear, I was in the early 2000’s (padded outer belt, TT inner and lots of molle. My CCW rig has also not changed. You’ve given me a lot to consider - especially since my physical condition has changed. I’m recovering from spinal cancer, so ‘running and gunning’ has turned to ‘meandering and gunning’. I won’t be donning a plate carrier anytime soon, so I need to reconfigure my rig, for my current state of ability and/or disability. Thanks again and all the best for 2025
DZ Rig or similar belt kit as commonly seen in the Ukraine/Russia War would be my preference as a civilian. The belts in the video are optimized for being vehicle mounted, short missions, or range practice. Now that I'm past my 20's I would rather utilize belt kit to put more weight on my hips rather than my spine if I load up my shoulders.
1,000,000% this!⬆ I've got a bunch of EDC and inner/outer belts, some with MOLLE some without. They're great for the range or your average training class but I'd never call one a "war belt". Outside of vehicle borne operations and CQB they simply pale in comparison to an LBE set up. I basically replicated the PLCE/DZ Rig/Jungle Kit with an HSGI Sure Grip and DAG Mosquito Y harness. It's infinitely more comfortable with 6-8 mags plus sustainment on it than any of the cool kid belts with just 3 mags and a pistol. It can still be stripped down to the bare essentials or augmented with a plate carrier/chest rig as needed.
I jumped on the kore as soon as it came out. From personal experience, it takes so much abuse. Mine hasn't had any issues. I'll never need to snap in. The thing for me is the ability to adjust the belt as my body changes throughout the day.
I run the agilite battle belt. I really like it. It has been used in combat. It could be used for range training, duty use, even competition if you really wanted to.
John, thanks for your great work and solid advice. Guys like you (former military turned knowledge transfer specialist) help a lot of folks save thousands of dollars in potential bad purchases. Especially myself. Btw the first video I ever saw you on was comparing the new 1-10 EOTech Vudu vs. the Vortex Razor 1-10, and I've been hooked on your content ever since. That opening scene was absolutely hilarious with the "no I done it Sgt" (Private speaking about only having a 1-4x LPVO and can't see the target then trying to hold on to your rifle when you said you'll do it). Lol.
I bought me some of them fancy drawers, with the comfort pocket. I've found that the waist band and the extra room in the pocket give me all the storage I need.
My dogs collar has that raptor locking mechanism. I love it. I got it from tactipup. I'm still wanting to get his harness from them soon as I get his chest measured.
I have a "range belt" that would double as my "War Belt" if needed. It's what I go to the range with. It's what I train on. I run two 5.56 mags, two 9mm mags, a dump pouch, pistol holster and a small bag that holds gun cleaning stuff, lubes and parts... If the SHTF I won't need to change a thing on it. The rest of the fun stuff goes on my PC and some optional leg panels
@markrein6904 not on the belt. IF the S indeed does hit the fan (doubt, but lack of preparedness is stupid) instead of being insane and carrying 6 mags on my chest, I'll put my many years of being a medic to use, so I keep 3 mags and a med kit that has about the equivalent of 2 IFAKs plus a little extra on the PC. And I also have a full on med bag with IV supplies, meds, LR, splints, more TQs, Isreali bandages, ya know, the fun stuff. Hopefully no need for an ifak at the range but it's always available in the truck. At this point in my life I'm just a larper but if something like Oct 7 happens here I'll be prepared to defend myself, and provide aid if needed.

I’m with Paul. I like the HSG inner belt inside my Bluealpha gear battle belt to just throw on over anything I’m wearing at the range or in class. I’ve got esstac kywi pouches and G code holsters. Been a rock solid set up for years.
The Ciguera Emissary Velcro is my EDC belt along with the matching Battlewagon that's part of my emergency/get-home truck kit but my main battle belt is a Blue Alpha Battle Belt Lite on HSG Laser Sure-Grip Slotted pad belt. I use the pad to add a bit of armor below my carrier by adding some 4in Velcro to the inside for Safe life Side Panel armor. I have 1 FRAS panel velcroed to the back of the belt protecting my spine, 2 Hyperline panels wrapping each side to the front. The other FRAS serves as a groin protector velcroed to the back of the main compartment of my LBT waist pack(yeah, I wear a pack up front below my carrier)
Im definitely rocking the old school (type), and am loving it. Inner belt for sure for me. I feel it is best for bending over, and it not riding up nor down.
I would like to see a carrying solution for every day chores like lawn mowing, raking leaves ,hoeing the garden ,cutting and splitting firewood ,riding the four wheeler, shoveling snow not just a Sunday afternoon bbq rig
Look at your gear as a progression. Start with EDC, then include it in your next step up, say to a warbelt. Awesome
I took me years to make a decision on a double belt. Then I found the Agilite Magnetix belt I’ve been using the Magnetix belt for almost a year now for work and EDC. Best Decision I ever made. I just thought why didn’t something like that come out years ago…😅
its funny, on one of my work tables in my garage i have a bunch of the stuff needed for my "war" belt waiting to get assembled. was waiting to find some mag pouches and a med kit i really liked to complete the set. its one of the cobra buckle inner-outer belt designed that is a knockoff of a much more expensive belt system marketed by another channel, run by Dev guys...not gonna name them specifically, but they get hate on the internets for their....unique...optic/laser mount.
The pouches are all pretty much the same ones everyone's making. There isn't much advancement. They all do the same.purpose.
Imagine if William Cutting had this rig!
The big question is, Where did Paul get that zip up hoodie?
Mine is black colored belt
