I hike and camp alone. I'm female. I genuinely appreciate this review. I just purchased four of the 308 kits. I want to be able to create a full perimeter, while still being able to tell which direction the threat is coming from. I threw in the flare gun with both bear deterrent and ariel flare rounds. I'm hoping I'll never need to, but I will feel better prepared to be be able to locate the direction of the danger, illuminate the danger, then shoot it. Thank you, again!!

Can have different beeps for different detectors so you know where the motion is coming from.

I make my own blanks with a single stage reloader. I size, prime and then hand measure and dump about 20 grains of pyrodex powder, no powder measures w black powder. Static electricity can ignite the powder. Then seat a shotgun wad to provide some resistance to build the pressure. They are loud as heck! Make your ears ring. Perfect for these alarms.

Trip wire are still highly illegal in most states. This should be for lawless grid down situations when chit hits da fan!

Noise generating devices are not illegal. Motion lights are not illegal. Evan Man traps in 47 states are allowed.
      Pits with bamboo spikes. Illegal.

I’ve owned two of these for years (the older version). I’ve used them in my yard to keep trespassers out.
It works great. I just wish the blanks in 12g were priced cheaper like they were pre covid.

It's only illegal if it's something designed to maim/do harm. This is nothing more than a noise causing device. Now if you put an actual 12g shell in it and aim it at someone's feet and not the ground then yea...illegal.
